As Buttons said, the atmosphere has improved as the season has progressed provided the place is full and the opposition don't just park a bus.
Part of this is that season ticket holders are starting to get to know the new people they are sitting with this year and this helps to get some singing going by being a group rather than individual.

Despite size of crowd Saturday we still somehow got straight to Wembley Park without stopping - and we were there to end to witness the little scuffle with that scum toe rag. Fortunate our exit from seats is that side of stadium suppose but was really down to most of crowd staying to the end for a change.

Well you've got the balaclavas....

:ninja::coffee:

This is true, I could tell you so much of our lingo and you wouldn’t have a bloody clue what I was on about .

A quick lesson, blood or fam we would say “sham/shem”, “cove”, “mucker”. Bear in mind I haven’t been down with the kids for 15years , so fuck knows what’s said now. @Cavehillspur spur could add some more maybe.

As I left Wembley on Saturday, feeling the effects of an adrenalin rush after watching Spurs win a NLD and then shouting in the face of an arrogant steward who made me walk 30 yards to go for a piss rather than use the toilets he was stood in front of, I told my dad I was going to miss Wembley once we'd left it. Before the season started, i was dreading playing here every other week. I didn't like the shite food they have on offer in the bars, or the fact the local shop owners try to mug you off by charging you a tenner for four cans of Budweiser. Or the queuing on Wembley Way that seems to last for hours. However, I'll always appreciate the soulless giganto-dome for allowing me to go to my first North London Derby, and seeing us win also. So, cheers to you, you gigantic red bastard

Although I hate the journey to and from, I've managed to get to 11 games this season. And I have tickets for Newcastle and Juve, and will most likely get tickets for the remaining games. I know it'll be tougher to get tickets next year so I'm making the most of it!

Part of me is gonna miss Wembley, I have great seats at a very reasonable price, i’m certain my seats won’t be anywhere near as good next season. It is also some sight when you see 80k spurs fans and the atmosphere has been good on the big games. I also love the fact that I can get home in 30 mins.
I wouldn't worry too much. The stands will be much closer to the action next season.

I haven’t found it nearly as awful as I feared. Good view from my seat with people I knew from WHL plus some new who are friendly.
I tried Club Wembley for the Newport replay, ok but nothing exceptional if you had to pay top whack, I only paid a tenner including postage.
My journey is slightly quicker, but save up to an hour on midweek games. Will really miss the short walk from stadium to Wembley Stadium station and on a train. Hopefully if there are improvements to WHL station I may get home quicker from the new stadium.

Getting to Wembley for a mid week fixture is a pain in the backside, but getting home is usually quicker than getting home from WHL was, as long as the M25 is'nt shut.

Won't miss being herded like cattle down Wembley way towards Wembley Park station, but on the whole this season at Wembley has'nt been too bad.

Nah, I'm the only one that really goes to games now. My dad used to get invited to boxes and lounges a few times a season, and he'd take me and my brother to the odd match. Now I just go by myself!

After I broke up with my ex I thought fuck it, I'm going to do things i enjoy even if it's doing it by myself. Best thing I've done!

NWHL will be pretty bad getting in and out like Wembley imo

Depends how frequent trains through WHL and Northumberland Park are going to be I think. If those 2 plus Seven Sisters tube can provide something akin to Wembley Park/Stadium/Central in terms of frequency then I imagine the crowds will dissipate surprisingly quickly.

I've quite enjoyed it TBH. For he most part the football has been enjoyable, with my seat I don't sit near anyone I don't like, and most midweek games I've been home by 11. Compare that to WHL where I'd be lucky to get home before midnight and it's quite a result.

Looking forward to our remaining games there.

Exactly the same happened to me a few years ago. My only regret is not making that decision sooner!

As a wheelchair user without a ST I hadn't been to WHL since we beat Man City back when they had Stuart Pearce in charge! So few wheelchair spaces meant it was basically impossible to get a ticket. But moving to Wembley has meant that I can finally go to a game again. Can't make them all but I've been able to get to Liverpool and Real Madrid this season. I've also been to a couple of England games too (for the kids), although the atmosphere for those games is terrible.
Access into the stadium is a breeze and parking isn't too bad. Looking forward to actually being able to get a ticket in the new stadium for once!
