i'd rather we'd gone to mk. would've cost a fraction of wembley and we wouldn't be playing in a half-empty red stadium.
MK would actually have been simpler for me to get to, as I now live in S London.

But, no way! It's such an empty, atmosphere-less place that would inspire no-one. (I've actually attended a wedding in the stadium!)

Wembley was the only good choice allowing us to grow that season ticket quota into the new stadium.

Any change will be tough for the players, but I think staying in London is a big deal for the team.

You may well be right about the finances, however.

You think Ossie will go? I'm worried about his knees...

15 minutes on the train from home. Lovely. I'll probably spend more time queuing to get a train. Not a great cup final atmosphere but for home games we have no excuse not to raise the roof. Or retract it, whatever.

I'm actually passing our new home ground now :)

Sweet. Great opportunity for me to get CL tickets that would otherwise have been impossible to get. Will certainly be making a trip or 10 over the next two seasons to see us now. Obviously I'd have loved to stay in the Lane but it makes it easier for me to see Spurs so it's a winner.

Yeah, that's what I'm thinking too. I'm quite thrilled by the prospect of seeing Spurs play Barcelona/Bayern/Juventus or similar at Wembley.

Even though we already pretty much knew, I'm even more excited about the CL draw now. It's all becoming very real, the same excitement I had before the 10-11 season.

Can't wait to watch us play CL football in front of so many fans.

Assuming we get ticket income will the extra seats cover the upfront cost of renting the stadium?

I take it we'll be restricted to 50K attendance for the CL games?

Great news but on the sad side this means we have seen our last european match at the Lane now. Kinda gutted we never got to give it a proper send off

I totally agree, absolutely gutted that we wont send off WHL with CL football in its final season, especially considering the history of european footy nights at the lane

Although necessary, am I the only one who thinks we have surrendered home advantage?

This is fantastic! Finally we can sing the Wembley song!

Ooooooooohh Spurs are on the way to Wembley,
Tottenham's gonna do it again
You can't stop them,
The boys from Tottenham,
The boys from White Hart Lane.

Oh...

Deal seems to be that we can use full capacity, but we're not comitted to it yet. I expect we'll go for 50,000 for the game against bottom seeds in the group - it'd probably a push to try and fill Wembley for PSV, Brugge, Apoel Nicosia or whoever we get there.
