I asked this in another thread but I'm going to ask it here too.

For the semi-final roughly how many tickets are going to be available to members? I think we have around 22-23k season ticket holders, and we have an allocation of just over 32k. Does that mean there should be at least 9k tickets available to members or do they have to take a load of other things in to consideration?

Not sure if I'm being a bit dense.
If i'm not mistaken our total allocation covers all ST holders, then corportate / sponsors tickets, the remaining will then be available for members. I think there will be c7K tickets or so available to members with the highest LPs

I didn't get a ticket for the SF but, having been to the CL at Wembley, I'm intrigued to know how they will police / steward the match especially at the end when everyone is heading off for their various train stations. We were held in queues of 99% Spurs fans waiting for trains, but how will this be handled when 2 sets of opposing fans, who don't like each other and are experiencing very different emotions, are all presumably, herded into the same areas? Although numerically not as bad, next season will be the same after PL/FA Cup matches.

Half of the ground is normally completely empty with at least 15mins left and the winning sides supporters normally stay around for another 15mins to celebrate

This normally gives about a 30min window between the one set of 15/20,000 fans going back via Wembley Pk tube and the emergence of the rival supporters by which time there are only a handful left

Would be more interesting outside if there is a winner in the 90th min...

I think Poch is right. He is such an excellent manager who gives reasons rather than excuses

Various explanations have been offered, including the larger pitch, but Pochettino feels it will be much easier when the club are playing all of their home games at the same place.

“When I arrived here, I made a lot of mistakes,” said the Argentinian. “One of the mistakes I made was that I said that the size of [the pitch at] White Hart Lane maybe doesn’t help us in the way we want to play.

“Remember three years ago? I received a lot of criticism for that. How it has changed! Three years later, now it’s ‘maybe Wembley is too big’.

“I think [the problem this season] was the different competition. We will make Wembley our home and start to feel very comfortable there. It’s about adaptation.

“When you are focused and you feel that your home is White Hart Lane , it’s so difficult to change. One week we played at White Hart Lane , the next week we played at Wembley. It’s so difficult to change your mind and be ready when you are so comfortable at White Hart Lane .

“But next season, there’s no excuse. Next season it’s Wembley or Wembley. There isn’t the doubt of having some games at Wembley, some at White Hart Lane .

“It was a great experience for us to learn. It was difficult but I’m sure that from day one next season we will be thinking about Wembley and it will be completely different.”

Had a quick look through this thread and couldnt find the info I was looking for so apologies if its already been covered.

Whats the chances of getting a taxi outside wembley after a game to take me straight to Heathrow Airport?

Thinking of coming over from Belfast for the Stoke game on Sat 9th Dec. Its a 3pm kick off and there is a flight back to Belfast that evening at 7.45 - would I make it to Heathrow Airport if I took the tube etc for 7pm once the game finishes or would it be too tight?

I just keep reading how much of a nightmare it is after a game at Wembley and as I have never watched a game there before I have no past experience of it so any help/advice would be greatly appreciated.

You’ve got 2 hours so that should be plenty of time. Grab an Uber to Park Royal tube station (about 5-15 minutes drive depending on traffic) and then you can get a tube straight to Heathrow in about half an hour leaving plenty of time for a swift pint before boarding (y)

Alternatively bakerloo from Wembley Central into Paddington and then Heathrow express from Paddington to Heathrow, again about an hour travel

Haven’t got a clue about taxis, but I doubt you would get to Heathrow via tube from Wembley to be honest, took me almost two hours to get to kings cross from Wembley on Saturday.
They hold everyone back and let through hundreds at a time it takes forever!!
Going Sunday and again I reckon will take me about 1.5 - 2 hours to get to Kings Cross. But I always stay to the end and soak up every second of it. If you leave early it might not be so bad getting on the tube.

Question for members.
I booked my tickets for the RM game but they are not showing up in the manage my tickets section of the members database, but when I look in my transaction history they are there and I have 2 loyalty points added for that game.
My Bournemouth tickets did appear in that section however?
Is this happening to anyone else or should i contact the ticket office?

I noticed the same with my account mate so emailed the ticket office regarding this ,they replied to say that the tickets do not appear in "manage my tickets " section until a week before the fixture in question.

We've got 12 of us coming up from Plymouth for the game tomorrow. We've got a train from Paddington back at 19:55 giving us just under two hours to get back there after the game. Are we gonna make it?? Don't really wanna leave the game early, but can't miss that train home!

You'll be fine. Even with the traditional Wembley queues can't see you taking longer than an hour at the absolute most.

They have a sign up about maximum parking on a match day. Can't remember what it is but not enough

Sorry to bump this thread but need some match day advice;

I am going the West Brom game with my 2 boys and my Dad. It’ll be first ever footy match for my boys so they are super excited. My Dad has to take it slow walking so I hope section 209 isn’t too bad a climb??

Anyway we are travelling down from the North West, doing it in a day, and was after some advice regarding parking. I was intending to drive to a park and ride and get tube/train to Wembley. Where’s best to do this Watford? Amersham or even closer? Are the park and rides especially busy on a Saturday, we’d probably be arriving between 11 and midday. Is getting away from the match via tube/train easy enough?

Any good advice would be greatly appreciated.

If you're coming down early, you could drive all the way and pre-book parking at the stadium.

The downside is when you leave you can expect to sit in a queue for an hour or so just to get out of the carpark. But at least you'll be sat in the warm, and you can always leave some food and drinks in the car and relax, wait for the queues to clear and then set off. Once you get a few miles away from the stadium the traffic flow eases a bit, but not much (depending on your route).

If you get the tube in and out, you might find yourself standing around in the cold for anything up to an hour, as access to Wembley Park is staggered. If it's relatively warm and dry that might not be a problem, but if it's cold and wet...

I was at the Madrid match last week and it took me an hour to get from the stadium to the tube platform. Luckily I was headed towards Kingsbury whereas everyone else seemed to be going back into London!

Given what you said about your Dad, I'd seriously consider driving all the way.

As people are getting used to the trip getting away has got less confused and people have by and large decided their best routes so it’s already much better than the start of the season. Getting to the stadium is pretty easy, from the NW the m1 and m40 bring you fairly close to a useful train station. Watford, Harrow on the Hill or Harrow Wealdstone are easy and have cheap local parking (£5-8). Getting away is easy but takes a while whatever way you cut it, all the stations have queues.

If you eat in the shopping centre, the stadium parking is £1 an hour as long as you spend over £40 and show the receipts, there’s pizza, Nando’s etc. Red Parking behind the holiday inn is the nearest physical building to the stadium, if you get there early it’ll be fine. But again, getting away will take time.
