Wembley flags

It is an unfortunate fact that some Spurs 'fans' arrived early and cleaned out other sections. I was in block 545 and I know every seat had a flag because I was there the day before putting them out!

By the time I arrived yesterday there must have been a couple of dozen seats with no flag. A chap there (posts here he said, BurnhamYid?) told me that some people from another section came over and just collected them all up.

On the way back to Wembley I saw men with 4-6 flags apiece, some still with the elastic bands around them so they'd never been waved. Just stolen from other fans to sell or whatever.

Shameful behaviour imo.

was the same in 544 (so called staff seats), we arrived about 1.30 and had a few shall we say discussions with some people who said they were saving the flags from their mates seats in case they were nicked, he already had 8 or so under his arm - as ive said on other threads paid my money i want a flag - of course when fans got to their seats some were a bit upset there wasnt a flag, we told them their mates had got them, they then got pissed at us because we didnt stop the blokes taking them, well sorry but we didnt no them from adam so how we supposed to know your mates?

Yes the same for me, there was no flag on my seat. the bloke in front a few seats over had 4 so when he wasnt looking i nabbed one. It was digusting seeing blokes walking from the lane with 5 or 6 flags to sell them on.

Good news for those who were robbed of their flags - and everyone else really. The club is getting more made and will sell them at £4.99. Could be worse but at least it will shaft the scumbags profiteering on ebay.

cheers bof im going to get one of those flags a mate of mine was over there but couldnt get a ticket but got me a programme so i will have a flag as well
