With regard to prices the club probably don't want to make it so cheap that people just don't bother turning up for some of the games on their ticket. If you paid 250 less you might be tempted to write off some games.

But hey I live near Wembley so maybe I see it differently to some of you lot!

Does anyone know if you have to renew your current One Hotspur Bronze membership for next season (17/18) to be one of the 18000? Do you need to keep up the membership and buy a season ticket? Are you automatically one of the 18000 if you have a One Hotspur Bronze membership? I just thought there were more than 18000 on the waiting list?

Not happy. A bit of a piss take if you ask me and not a great way to treat loyal ST holders.

I can't really commit to Wembley for a season, not just because it's crap ( it is), but because a) I go with my Dad who's 70 with a dodgy knee for whom getting squashed on a tube and/or standing outside a station for an hour isn't something he really wants to do and b) I have a young family and going to Wembley turns a 5 hour trip into being out most of the day.

I find myself though in the position that I'm basically forced to get a ST if I want to retain one for the new stadium ( and I think that considering I've been paying through the nose for 20 years even when we were total shit it's the least I could expect).

So I have to effectively pay a retainer for a year to be able to get a ST at the new stadium. Wouldn't be so bad if the prices were reduced, but my prices are going UP. For less games! For something that's not really feasible.

Not only that, but they have no chance to fill the stadium unless they sell on general sale for cheap. Which if they do is ripping me and other ST holders even more ( and if they don't there will be huge areas of empty seats which is going to be detrimental to both the atmosphere and for the team).

Lastly, unless they are planning on ditching StubHub and going back to the old system ( of which there is no evidence whatsoever), then mentioning the fact that if you can't attend you can resell is misleading. StubHub can only be used if it's a sell out, which it most certainly won't be for the majority of games. And even if it is, it will be because they are offering tickets at dirt cheap prices meaning you'll be lucky to get even half face value back. So virtually pointless.

Have to agree with the OP. It is greedy and if I'm honest has left a rather bitter taste for me in what has otherwise been one of the best seasons on the pitch since I've been supporting the club.

So will the violet all be general sale or will there be some cheapo STs?
I was thinking exactly the same thing as I like going to the odd game but don't want the commitment of being a STH

As there is no price to them on that stadium plan it looks to me they will be general sale only.

Is there the possibility of the upper tier not being used at all for some games or will the club sell cheapo tickets against the less glamorous sides just to fill the stadium up

It's weird. We're all looking forward to the increased revenue the new stadium will give us, but at the same time, we seem te be expecting that a bigger stadium means lower prices. There's obviously a big difference between 90k and 61k, but nonetheless, the stadium ain't gonna pay for itself, and everyone who go to games will have to pull their weight.

Given we sold tickets for £10 to fill the stadium against Gent, and lobbied to be able to use the full capacity in all games, I'd guess they will sell the upper tier tickets fairly cheaply - not sure they'd be a tenner though (except for League cup, or Europa league if we're 'lucky' enough to end up in it again....)

Which suggests that there is little benefit in being a Lilywhite member next year, even if the plan is to take advantage of better availability.

Think you're right - Arsenal's prices haven't exactly gone down with their new stadium, have they? (though of course, ours wil be bigger :) )

Only if it could get you into better seats.... ??? No, doesn't look like much point otherwise...

I don't expect lower prices at the new stadium. I do however think it's right and fair to expect cheaper prices at Wembley unless you give long standing ST holders the option to not renew or else be shoved to the back of the waiting list.

Remember the club is owned by a fucking billionaire. It's not as if the new stadium isn't going to add huge value to THFC and therefore to ENIC's investment.

I feel for you mate. You should absolutely have the option to freeze for a year. It feels like maybe the club do not realise what an absolute bloody nightmare Wembley is for some fans. Just because it is in London doesn't mean it's a like for like location or in anyway close. For some MK would have been easier, at least drivable that way instead of packed tube trains/ques for the station at Wembley & they would have frozen for that.
I know it's a step back to go many more forward but it really is a huge inconvenience.

Looks like a drive to Watford Junction and then Overground might be the best route for me from Norwich. Anyone know what parking's like there?

Drive to Willesden Green, park up and get the tube to Wembley

Personally I think the club are money grabbing cnuts

Hammer the supporters rather than introduce a FAIR pricing system that ensured more games got up to 70-90k

Its typical spurs. After the buzz of the weekend, they come back and kick us in the bollocks.

Fucking billionaires become fucking billionaires by never giving suckers even breaks.

I'm not naive enough to expect Uncle Joe to do me any personal favours, but fans are the lifeblood of a club and I feel that we are being a bit shafted.

Loyalty goes both ways.

Some people on here live in a fantasy land.

Best season in years, stadium build to fund, wages to increase, Levy in charge, and we're going to cut prices? "You do it to yourself, you do..."

I'll have your season ticket for the season if you don't want. Promise to give it back!

No alarms and No Surprises?

I was thinking I was deserving of a bit of loyalty having had a season ticket for 5 years but yeah, for those that have had one for 20 or 30 years to be threatened with being put to the back of the season ticket waiting list if they don't fancy going to Wembley for a year is quite frankly absolutely disgusting.

Wembley is a souless hell hole of a place and a logistical nightmare to get away from. At the very least they should be offering reduced season ticket prices or half-season tickets or something for those that don't want to face the place for 19 games next season, especially those that have been loyal to the club for however many years.

Personally, I'm fuming at this and I'm in two minds as to whether renew or not. If they happen to allow Bronze members to defer their season ticket for the year yet offer nothing to existing season ticket holders then I'll be tearing my renewal form up there and then.

From reading the trust response the idea appears to be to have all the ST in the lower 'bowl' so for games they decide not to open the upper tier we aren't all scattered all over in dribs and drabs as this would dilute the atmosphere . Which is annoying as I actually prefer the upper tier

You prefer the Upper Tier!! Are you nuts or maybe your an Astronaut in your day job

It's all pretty disgusting but wasn't expecting anything else

I've had a season ticket of my own since WHL became all seater and would have loved to take up The amnesty option

Wembley is absolute dogshit

Where will most of the shelf & south ST Holders try and locate to, next to the away supporters at that end I would imagine

Might as well try and have 1 end with a semblance of atmosphere, if that is actually possible in that monstrosity
