Wonder how many paid-for but empty seats there will be at the cat 2/3 games after some of the big cat 1 ones.... (not that it's a problem for the club)

The packages are just one way of buying tickets, game by game ticket sales will definitely be going ahead although no one can guarantee availability for specific games, there are many more tickets available than there were at WHL. Packages are only open to Bronze Members, guaranteeing the same seat at those games. Of course Lilywhite Members will be able to buy seats, but only on an individual basis. The club has not confirmed plans for General Sale outside of the membership, but given the number of seats there are and the need to get bums on seats, I should imagine most games will open up to be purchased to anyone with a Spurs Ticket Office registration (subject to cut-offs prior to each game).

However, pretty much all home games look like will be covered by a package (sorry to contradict @nicdic). The club have confirmed every Category 1 game will be included in a multi game package. that suggests that, if like the current version, there is a 3 game package including 1 Category 1 and then 2 other games from Category 2 and/or 3), with 6 designated Category 1 games, a total of 18 games will be included in a package of some form.

As a nosebleed seat season ticket holder i'd be pretty pissed off to be paying around £36 a match while the bloke behind me snuck in for £25.
You're paying an average of £36 a match.
If you worked out how much each game individually would cost if you didn't have a season ticket I'd bet it wouldn't be less and likely much more.

I doubt it. Check Don_Felipe's post and you'll see there are at least some seats in the gods that would cost significantly less over a whole season than my season ticket. I'd bet the rest of the top tier will also be available at a similar price pretty soon.

Those are worse seats than anything they sold to season ticket holders though.

They're one row higher than the seats that were on sale to season ticket holders, not a massive difference.
There's got to be a cut-off point somewhere unless you go for a very confusing system with each row at a different price.

I agree, but a season ticket holder sitting in row 20 of one of those blocks has a right to feel pretty miffed that the person sat in row 21 has paid less than him for every single game. The cut-off point is the different tiers/different groups of blocks within those tiers. Selling tickets in the same block as season ticket holders for less per game than the season ticket holder is paying is not on in my opinion.

No.

You are paying for more than just a ticket at every game. You're paying for your seat at every game. Guaranteed. The guy trying to get GA tickets has no guarantee of buying every ticket, let alone the same seat. Plus, you, with a season ticket, will stand better chance for final tickets, and you'll be offered a season ticket next year.

The guy who buys GA is only buying a ticket to a game.

But if that seat is still sold for each game, regardless of if it's to one person or 19 different people, it's still being sold cheaper than the season ticket holder is paying for the row in front. I understand the benefits of being a season ticket holder but I don't think it should cost more than GA, it seems like it's a premium for being loyal.

Also, with the ticket return scheme for season ticket holders who can't make a match, surely they will be listed at face value, i.e. The £36 a ticket I'm paying. If there's a seat in the row behind that's only £25, which one is going to get bought? So as a season ticket holder in those blocks it's going to be really hard to re-sell those tickets for matches they can't make, or face selling them for less than face value to match the tickets further back.

The return scheme is bound to be utter crap. In the first 3 games I can only make the Chelsea game, and then I'm going to miss Swansea and Burnley due to weekend trips organised before the fixtures came out. I plan on making sure that they haven't changed the rules so I need any type of ID to get in to the stadium for the Chelsea game, and then selling the ticket privately for Swansea and Burnley. I probably wont get face value (I'm thinking £25-£30 for a ticket worth about £35 for Cat C), but at least I know I'll be able to shift it.

I can't be fucked to list it on the ticket return scheme only to be informed 3 hours before kick-off that it hasn't been sold and I've effectively lost one-nineteenth of my ST.

In my block it would cost me £45 for 6 cat A games, £40 for 6 cat B games and £30 for 7 cat C games.

If you do the maths that's £765
My season ticket cost me £675
For the non season ticket holder to get all 19 games they'll need to be a member and pay the member cost in addition to their £765

Can everyone just chill. No one is getting mugged off.

Not to mention booking fee's for each game. Will probably add another £30-£40 on for the season.

No different to WHL - bloke next to me had a restricted view ticket in the East Lower - mine was full price. His view was near on perfect - he just moved his head to look around the post. He paid about £300 less than mine I think. Can't say it duly bothered me. Must be thousands of similar ones at every stadium in the country

based on a quick calculation it seems if I bought 19 tickets separately instead of a season ticket it would have cost me about £150 quid more so 8 quid more per ticket

Because im a saddo I did exactly that, Im paying approx £30 more than I would had I bought them individually
