No different to WHL - bloke next to me had a restricted view ticket in the East Lower - mine was full price. His view was near on perfect - he just moved his head to look around the post. He paid about £300 less than mine I think. Can't say it duly bothered me. Must be thousands of similar ones at every stadium in the country
Was exactly the same for me, in fact I really got stuffed. The guy to my left was restricted view, to my right was officially part of/sold as the North Stand (although it was clearly part of the Shelf) and the guy behind me was also restricted view. So I was paying full price for an East Stand seat and 3 of my 4 closest neighbours were all paying significantly less.

It's part and parcel, the line has to be drawn somewhere. I gave up my ticket because of that (they wouldn't move me) as well as a couple of other factors which meant it was going to be much more expensive for me to go and I'd find it harder to get there.

I think your maths is wrong too. The individual seats would could £720, not £765.

Think my fat fingers did 7 x cat A games rather than 6, hence the £45 addition.

You can add it back in for liklywhite membership. Then again for £1.50 per ticket booking fees though :ROFLMAO:

I also had a pillar blocking some of my view, but as it wasn't in blocking a goal (right next to) it didn't count as restricted view... Was a real kick in the goolies after the excitement of getting the seat and then finding out where it was! It was very close to the start of a season (around 2005 or 2006) so I never got taken around or given a choice.

There won't be any restricted views at Wembley or the new Lane.
I would just like to be in the new South stand when we move, that's my only wish.

But if that seat is still sold for each game, regardless of if it's to one person or 19 different people, it's still being sold cheaper than the season ticket holder is paying for the row in front. I understand the benefits of being a season ticket holder but I don't think it should cost more than GA, it seems like it's a premium for being loyal.

Also, with the ticket return scheme for season ticket holders who can't make a match, surely they will be listed at face value, i.e. The £36 a ticket I'm paying. If there's a seat in the row behind that's only £25, which one is going to get bought? So as a season ticket holder in those blocks it's going to be really hard to re-sell those tickets for matches they can't make, or face selling them for less than face value to match the tickets further back.

but looking at the pricing the only time a ticket will be sold cheaper than your average is cat C games, and by the way it was posted there won't be a lot of tickets going at those prices.

looking at the chart cat A & B games they will be paying £10+ per game more than you

Already done the indisputable maths on the last page.
A season ticket of individual tickets is around £80 more not including a lillywhite membership and a booking fee for each match.

Actually, if you check on the spurs site here you will see that there is now a Category 4 ticket section, for now only in blocks 505, 506, 547 & 548. A season ticket in this category would only cost £530, approx £100 less than my season ticket cost.

Now i'm in row 2 of my block, and I understand the concept of paying a premium for the benefit of a better view, as well as paying a premium for the best chances of picking up a ticket for cup games. I also understand that the chances of one individual being able to buy a category 4 seat for every home game is very slim. My point I was trying to make was that a season ticket holder in block 506, sat in row 20ish, will have a seat directly behind him that costs £100 less over the course of a season than he is paying for his season ticket. The view wont be better in his seat than the one behind him. He's had to commit to paying this large chunk of money to the club, paying for tickets regardless of if he can make all the games or not, and in my opinion it's not right that the club should then charge a regular fan less to sit in the same section.

I'm not saying this is going to screw all or even a lot of fans over, but there will definitely be several hundred fans in those sections who have a right to feel pissed at the club IMO.

Add in £47 for annual membership. Add in £1.50 booking fee x 19
It won't be far off what people in the better seats paid for a season ticket.
I reckon those cheaper seats are probably the worst not just for the view but also for getting to and from your seat. Miles away from entrances and exits Etc.

I'm also not convinced tickets will go on sale in those sections for every match. I think they'll he ad-hoc choices made for when they sell the rest.

The fact that Season Tickets were sold on 'All' levels suggests to me that every Premier League game is intended to be sold at maximum 90k capacity - i can't see the club closing the top tier & relocating season tickets holders into Club Wembley etc.. but you never know. I dont think the top tier will be used in League/FA CUP matches unless it is a Category A opponent & as the Season Ticket holders no longer get cup tickets as part of their deal means they can do this. Same with the loyalty points thing, is it possible now the loyalty points system will change with those that accumalate the most points from cup matches this season that would get first dobs on semi final tickets ? Just a thought ?

They only sold the bottom half of three sides of the top tier, suggesting they could close off the top tear east in full and the top half of the top tier on the other three sides if demand is low. I'd guess that would bring it down to between 75k and 80k capacity.

In theory cup tickets means first dibs on your own seat, so not sure on that part, they could relocate some like they will for those affected by increased away allocations.

The club have yet to announce the approach that will be taken for late stage cup ties, I suspect this will be difficult to manage but could take on the approach you've described. I suspect it'll be a 'cross that bridge when we come to it' situation.

I got mine a couple of weeks ago and I was in window 5.

Unless you purchased your ticket very recently I'd give the ticket office a call

I'm sure they said they cannot guarentee you will get the same seat for cup/uefa tickets for ST holders so anythingn is possible in regards to closing sections off - if i remember rightly back in the day ;-) didnt they used to give Wembley tickets to those that had attended the most cup matches when they used to put a token in the match programme or something along those lines ? We could go Back to the Future !
