Morning all.

I've managed to get a couple of tickets for the Wolves match. Just so I can sort train tickets to get back up north, how long should I allocate to get back from Wembley to Euston on the Saturday evening?

Any travels tips would be appreciated.

Thanks.

You can either get the Met line from Wembley Park to Euston Square and then walk to the main station, which will take about 25 mins, or go Wembley Central to Euston itself, which will take about the same.

If you go Wembley Park way I'd suggest leaving a little early otherwise you'll be caught up in all the footfall walking down Wembley Way, but Wembley Central is a good 15-20 mins walk away as it's further, but usually less waiting about

I'd suggest at least an hr, possibly slightly more as it's difficult to judge if you get held up out of Wembley.

Double check trains are running out of Euston.. Fuckers have just announced major works in Camden tunnels from boxing day to Jan 3rd.
I've got booked seats going up to Chester before Xmas but won't let me book a reserved seat back to Euston on 28th as they don't know if trains will be going in/out of euston??so where changing at brum and getting the cross country service to cambridge.... My Mrs is a long standing business travel agent and she's the one who's found this out and done the booking.

Maybe you should look at getting to and fro Wembley from Watford or mk just in case

I would look at Wembley Central and the overground into Euston, lot less waiting around. Just have to walk up Wembley High Street. Or as already stated maybe look to get your train home from Watford/MK.
