Wenger think Arshavin should be allowed to play

Wenger has claimed that he doesn't think it is logical that Arshavin has to miss the Champions League matches. Arsenal are going to have to play Bendtner because Adebayor is out, but Wenger thinks it should be Arshavin starting. Apart from the fact he is cuptied, he was signed a full 2 days after the deadline for registering new players, so I really don't know what Wenger is harping on about. Sounds like he is making excuses already because he knows that Arsenal are miles off the standard needed to win the Champions League this year.

Whats hard to understand? Arshavin has already played in the Champions League with Zenit, and effectively he has been one of the players to get knocked out. So why should he get another chance this season? The rule is there for a reason. Shut up Wenger.

I'm just listening to him and I just don't get the logic. It looks like he's losing it...
