I'd like to see Aurier & Sissoko sitting on the bench today....in a pub somewhere.

Got my pessimistic hat firmly on. I believe we will lose this one today, we're generally not good against this mob and judging by our recent performances and theirs, I can only see them winning because they will put the effort in and will have more desire than us.
We wont lose. And I'm now putting money on a draw so we should win comfortably lol.
Edit. Shit no I'm not.Sky Bet app is down. Football Gods conspiring against us :(

Is this an attempt to tempt fate in reverse?

I'd like Aurier to start.

My nearest challenger on Fantasy Football has Trippier for the double gameweek and it'd be funny.

Maybe less so for us, though...

Same ref as in the home game, so expect foster to get away with a lot of time wasting.

Step it up Spurs. More zip, more energy, more oomph please.

Yes we won against Watford but it was a lacklustre performance. We'll need to play better to beat West Brom.

Maybe if they snuck an early goal, but a draw ain't no good for them so I can see them being more proactive than normal.
I'm not expecting them to be hung-ho though, well not for the first hour anyway.

I've seen a number of posts assuming that WBA have to "come out and play". They wouldn't be that stupid. Moore and his squad know that if they try to play an expansive game against us, they'll get slaughtered.

I expect them to play a modified version of the approach that they have played at WHL/Wembley: two disciplined banks of four, but much more frequent use of the ball over the top of our high defensive line to try to nick a goal. If they can do they early, they can revert to the shut-up-shop approach. If they don't, I'd be surprised if they start to open up until the hour mark, at the earliest.

If they play their usual "disciplined way", at some point they will have to open up and attack. 1 point wont do it for them this time, that means relegation.

If Stoke win today, they are 1-0 up, then West Brom are relegated, due to the fixtures to come. With Swansea playing Southampton and Stoke, at least one of those three clubs will get to 35 points. West Brom can only get 34 points

Well in the context of this match playing against already relegated team should work in our favour. However, remember Newcastle 2 years ago....
