Something stinks.

This group of players were dicking teams for fun.

You're not telling me these fuckers have forgotten how to play football.

There's no desire, and a large amount of "can't be arsed" around the whole thing at the min. Like, I can barely remember the last time I saw us press real hard with a lot of determination that bloody-mindedly used to kill teams off real quick.

The frustration lies here: We've seen what this team is capable of. It's immense. We've amassed the most points in the two previous seasons, etc. So why can't we seem to string a few slick passages of play together at the min?! You're not telling me the players have all of a sudden lost that.

Seems a little fractious for my tastes.

Makes me feel sick. They get paid so much, and still want more, and the poor delicate geniuses can't put the effort in anymore...

The most annoying thing is, the ones who apparently want out, think we owe them a favour.

They’ve all been good but not good enough when it matters unfortunately.

It needs a shake up 100%

I've seen a lot of, I'll call it 'peculiar ' things this season that has me questioning if the whole thing is a little off.
Bayern Munichs goal keeping mistake for example. I dont buy it.
Liverpools run in CL and poor decision after poor decision going in their favour.
Wham for no logical reason being favorites to win away at Leicester and low and behold they win.
And then theres us going through the motions as if trying to make the premier league run in a bit more exciting for the masses.
Poch suddenly deciding with 3 games to go, against bottom of the table, 'hmm, I think today I'll play Toby and Rose for the first time in forever and change to a back 3, havent done that in a long while. Defense obviously the main priority against bottom of the table. And drop Son who, even when not at his best and scoring, is a defenders nightmare. Yes. Lets remove the goal threat and pick.. err.. Lamela. Yes. He hasnt scored or started in forever so what with Rose and Toby getting their first starts together in an age as well that should cause a right disjointed fk up. While I'm at it I'll give Wanyama a start as well. Why not???'
Cant believe some thought that line up was a good idea. You dont make wholesale changes in an important game and hope for the best. Dropped a bollock big time.
I know we looked poor against Watford so make a few changes and kick them up the arse dont throw the baby out with the bath water.
So pissed off with Poch lately. Change formation and add 4 players who havent been playing with each other week in week out then its gonna look lethargic as the know how of where everyone is and how they work isnt there. Too many changes.
Dont give a shit if some disagree. The proof is in there for all to see. We were shit.

I think you’re trying to suggest something with this post but I’m fucked if I can figure out what exactly you’re hinting at!

Exactly, how hard is it to put a little effort in for 90 minutes a week.

Losing i can take but a lack of effort is unacceptable. We are not asking for much you lazy...

I dont blame poch, players at fault.

We're blaming Lloris now?

Blame? Not really. More of an observation about a goal we conceded. Equally culpable would be the defence for the shitty clearances, harry kane for wearing lead in his boots, lamela for taking too many touches and west brom for defending too well!

foster always plays well against spurs that and an offside goal is why we lost

We lost because Kane hit his chance straight at Foster, instead of going across him into the corner. Then we had the best chance of the match, but it fell to no idea how to finish Lamela. Possibly the most inept attacker in the league.

We will really find out how mentally strong his team is this week as well as how motivational and tactically flexible the manager can be.

If we fail to qualify for top four it means in all likelihood we have failed to beat Brighton, WBA, Newcastle and Leicester in the run in.

If we fail to qualify for top four then serious questions have to be asked of the manager.

We have a chance to finish above Liverpool and Chelsea and confine one of them to the Europa Cup. Seize the opportunity.

Is this stat all time prem league or just under Poch?

Without context it's utter bollocks tbh.
Well spotted and apologies to all for making a horlicks of interpreting that which I was reading. I couldn't re-find where I had read it a couple of days ago so cannot confirm over what time period - now I've researched a few stats about goals conceded in stoppage time, it is certainly not this season as we have only conceded 4 late goals - Chelsea, Burnley, West Ham and West Brom.

As, during my research about my ridiculous earlier claim, I have found out that We have also scored 4 times late on against Huddersfield, Man City, Liverpool and Bournemouth. So I suppose when you score shouldn't be considered as important even if it changes the final score. It is swings and roundabouts and probably evens out over a season. That said, in the Spurs official stats, I discovered 25% of the goals we have conceded this season came in the last 10 minutes of the game Perhaps there is an area Poch could look at there?

Once again apologies for not checking my post for correctness.

It's one of those 'hot take' (i'm guessing) things (the stat) and as fans whether positive or negative depending on how we're applying it we (I do it quite often) may throw it out there and then wonder why people question me.

I'd be better off not questioning something so 'aggressively' and word my question in a less confrontational manner, makes the board run smoother I am quite sure.

The last 10 minutes of matches percentage is something which raises an eyebrow for sure. Perhaps that has something to do with missing a key player or two (especially at the back or being 'away' from home) but there is always room for improvement as none of us are perfect. Thanks for the break down.

Again, spot on. I must learn to relax and calm down after disappointing results before spouting off - it would save me a lot of grief.

Think that makes two of us. Different angles both wanting the same successful result for Spurs.

By this time next week it'll all be over and the hair pulling or the beer drinking will have begun.

One week to go.

One week to go.

And bloody hell! Will I need the break. I've been dragged between euphoria and utter depression so often I feel at times I've been through a mangle. After a week or two of serenity and calmness, then comes something worse - sheer boredom and agonising impatience waiting for those seemingly 48 hour days to creep the time forward to the start of next season. By then I will have have convinced myself we are hot favourites to win the the league and probably a domestic cup. I shall be longing to thrash a couple of the the European giants.Once the season starts, the pain and the joy will return to reintroduce yet another Spursey topsy turvey season. Supporting our wonderful team is not for wimps.

I’d drop Kane to the bench for four reasons:

1. He is in very poor form and needs to be shown that poor performances get rewarded with a spell on the bench.

2. Our two best recent performances (Bournemouth away and Chelsea away) have come with Kane out of the team. I think Kane makes us one dimensional whereas the movement of Son, Lamela, Dele and Eriksen creates all sorts of issues for opposition defences.

3. If that movement from the attacking mids doesn’t get us ahead in the game, Kane coming on in the second half to stretch the defence would be a lot more effective than him playing from the start, where he seems to tire incredibly quickly.

4. I don’t need a fourth point because the other three were so great.
