I think it was a pretty good perfomance today, against a club, that to be brutally honest, has been much better than us this season. For the first time in months, I feel we actually had at least 10 players on the pitch that wanted all 3 points. 11 when Kaboul went off.

Really impressed by Malbranque today. I don't think the average Spurs fan appreciates what he does for us. Okay, he maybe should be scoring more regularly, but his part in a lot of the build-up play for chances today was very positive.

Gutted that JD couldn't tuck the pen away, but shit happens. Happy with a point, at the end of the day.

I thought we played well today, not great but we looked classy at times and controlled much of the pocession and set the tempo of the match.

The main problem seemed to be that it took as a age to create a chance (they made us work hard for every opportunity) where as they had to do very little to get into a postion to make an attempt at goal.

I have faith things will turn around sooner rarther then later. I have no doubt fourth is beyond us (even premier league golf will suggest that after this result?) and I think we would be hard pressed to finish in the uefa place (time will tell)

Hopefully a return to form and sustain this form over a longer period this time as well as focus on one or more of the cups. I think a cup win is what our season is relying on now.

Overall a very bad performance today. We did not actually deserve the 3 points today. We have to do better than this, and that penalty miss made our day misrable.

We have to improve if we want to be a top team. This is not good enough.

Kaboul did an awful miss today, but overall the team did not play well either. Kaboul had one of his worst games.

We have to keep posession more, we are playing too much long from Robinson.

are you on glue?

For a pleasant change this season it was nice to watch a game where I was optomistic and expected us to win with the way we played.

The worst I see from a football team is when the team do not build up the attack. We are playing too much long, and I hate to see Robinson kicking that ball long all the time, and 10 secs later the ball is lost. That is the pattern most of the time, when Robinson have the ball.

A good team will build up the attack from defence, and keep posession of the ball. We can do that aswell, but we don't want to. It seems like that they do not have the fitness to run, sometimes. Are they lazy, and always opt for the easy option? I don't think so, but very often we are lacking the pace in the game.

I happen to think when you can be accurate as Robbo he becomes an option and an asset. I was at Anfield a few weeks ago and he set up both goals with his accurate kicking.

Robinson definitely is one of a kind. Strangely enough, I don't think we'd be any better without him.

i think we played well today we were well on top before they scored which gave them a lift and if the ref gave the pen Robbie would have put it away and maybe Green could have got the line.
robbo had a good game and looks like he is coming back into some form Berbatov was good on th ball and Zokora had a good game impressed with Ramos the way he took of Kaboul and brought on Bent which was a brave thing to do at the time so all in all we could have won it and maybe we can go on from here

Away from home, London derby....you have to grudgingly accept the point, but it should have been 3. JD knows he has to seize any slight opportunity, so must be gutted.

Agree that Steed looked the biz at CM, and hopefully that caught Ramos' eye. Zoko is no natural at CB, but is still miles better than Kaboul, and we need another option there in these injury-hit times. Might work if Ramos can keep Zoko there and get him to shout at and gee-up Daws who obviously needs a leader to help him. Or use the returning Rocha, naturally. Even Cerny might be a better CB than Kaboul....8 million?....Comolli must be so proud...

Thought Bale looked out of match practise. His delivery was inconsistent at best. Can only get better.

Still too much Tottenham HOOFspur for my liking.:-|

Ramos out. He obviously has no more idea than Jol.

What a shame! The moment I saw Defoe on for the penalty, I went "why him?". To be honest, he was the last person I wanted to see taking it, considering his recent luck, little involvement in the team, and hence low on confidence. This is not to blame him though.

In general, a good point in the bag and a good and well organized performance. Now, I have complete faith in Romos. The man seems to know what he is doing.

I'd like to see more of the 3-5-2 with the following lineup too:

Robbo
Daws Zoko Chimbo
Lennon Jenas Prince Steed Bale
Berba Bent/Defoe

I like Keane a lot but he seems to be less effective with Berba dropping deep. I am sure we will see more of Bent in the starting eleven before the new year. Just my observation.

I don't there is any proof that playing 3 at the back is a recipe for winning. I believe our team should be capable of playing it at times, but there is no way that we will play that way from the start.

The only way during a game we could be playing 3 at the back is, starting with a flat four, but with 2 atacking full backs a defensve midfielder covering.

On the robbo point - it's a very good tactic his long kicking - goals against wigan and Blackpool and Tel Aviv under Ramos alone - let alone many under Jol - keep on hoofing it Robbo (as part of a mixed strategy of course)

Overall a tremendous performance, a good result and a good/very good performance - Not quite one of the Classics between th two clubs - but to use the cliche a tremendous advert for the Prem league -such games are part of the reason why it's the most watched league in the world (and that goes for all sports I believe - not just football)
