Robinson-7
Made expected saves well.

Chimbonda-8
Defended well in both positions, (full back and centre back)

Kaboul-5
Needs a bit more time to adjust to the pace of English football. School boy error for W Hams opening goal.

Dawson-7
Good goal, still worries me defensively. It was the correct decision by Ramos to move him from the centre to be replaced by Chim and Zoko.

Bale-7
Offers much more then Lee going forward and was an outlet on the left.

Malbranque-6
Nothing special, nothing bad.

Jenas-7
Excellent delivery for Dawson's goal and with Zokora in partnership both dominated proceeding in the centre.

Zokora-8
Was everywhere and played it seemed with a new belief (change in manager maybe)

Lennon-9
Haven't seen Lennon play so well for such a long time. He was tracking back and attacking on the right wing...his work rate along with the rest of the team was impressive.

Berbartov-7
Something still isn't right IMO with Berbatovs game at the moment he seems to have lost confidence in front of goal. Was instructed to drop deep and played the role better the Keane actually.

Keane-7
In and out of the game, should have been awarded a pen.

Subs.
Bent-6

Defoe-6

Overall I was impressed with how well the team played. What stood out for me was our work rate, especially when closing down the spaces for when Wet spam where in procession of the ball.

Robinson- 7 made some good saves although to be fair they were mostly straight at him, flapped at one cross but looked more confident then of late
Dawson- 7 did ok, plus he scored
Kaboul- 5 poor game, not ready
Chimbs-6.5 covered kaboul well
Bale-7.5 an excellent outlet, played very well if berbatov had controlled better would have made an assist
Lennon-7 worked hard and used his pace well at times
Jenas-7 looked good, still never controlled the middle though
Zokora-6.5 one of his better performances
Malbranque-7 looked lively and an attacking threat
Keane-6 showed his class without doing alot
Berbatov-6.5 looked classy, but never made a real impact
Bent-6 unable to get into game
Defoe-6 done well to get penatly which could have won match (but missed it)

Robbo 7- some good saves, one that really stood was from parker that was going in bottom corner

Bale 6.5- played well defencively and provided outlet on left..still not sure if he should play at LB or LM

Dawson 7.5- i thought he was solid today, and got a vital goal

Kaboul 5- shocking error and looked out of place, was lucky that robbo saved his blushes when he let boa morte though

Chimbonda 6.5- so comfortable on the ball and we looked better defencively when he was at CB

Malbraque 6- worked hard and used the ball well, but missed good chance

Zokora 6.5- hard working and bossed their midfield

Jenas 7.5- great game, used the ball well, created a great chance for malbranque and found the ball a bit more with the tactical change..perhaps could of burst forward a little bit more tho

Lennon 6- ok, nothing special

Keane 6- tried hard but was stifled quite well, could of got a penalty but still think he went down 2 early

Berbatov 6.5 - flashes of brilliance and worked hard, and caused them problems..but by god he has 2 release the ball a bit earlier on occasions

Bent 5- not much..i think he should of taken penalty though
Defoe 6- got on the ball more times than bent and got penalty that he missed

8 bordering on 9 for Robbo - an almost faultless display with some key saves- 8 for JJ too - made the goal - saved one on line - battled all game - I was worried when Gus said he wanted JJ to concentrate more on mid and less on goal scoring - but on this evidence well done Gus and my fears were wrong - be interested to see how the 'new JJ' pans out

I thought Chimbo had a very good game, agree he did not bust a gut to get back for there goal but lennon would have struggled. Zoko and Robbo played well and although he did not get on for long, I was impressed with Bent when he came on really pressed there defence and probably won more headers than Berbs did all game.

Why is Steed so under rated hes like out hardest work, if he loses the ball he wins it back,

Zokora is also partly to blame for the goal.
If you see the replay, you will see that Zoko stopped in his track as soon as Solano runs into the penalty box, like WTF???? why did you stop Zoko, you were marking Solano, you should chase after your man, why the hell did you stop and pass the responsibility to others?
I hate Zoko, I HATE HIM!

Totally agree, Good to see Robbo (8.5) have agood game, lets hope that dip in form is over and he carries on doing what he is capable of. JJ (8) had another good game and seems to be different player recently, i wasnt much of JJ fan last season but my opinion is changing, i always thought he had pottential but just did live up to it maybe now .......?
