I would love to know Diop's thought process when dealing with Lamela...

I can get that... Oops.

This time I'll have it... Wayhey.

OK I'm staying off him this time. But look it's right there for the taking. :clown::bag:

Yet most
Sissoko’s best half in a spurs shirt. Fair play. Trippier, on the other hand, whenever i think it cant get worse for him, it does. What is wrong with him this season?
yet most on here until his assist were saying he was complete shit, he was playing well all half in my unblinkered eyes, lots of nice touches, wouldn’t be surprised if some on here were mad he got the assist

If Lamela had a right foot he'd be a phenomenal player.

Sissoko and Winks having their best games of the season so far.

Really we should have absolutely destroyed them in that half, we've had so many gaps to exploit. However we simply must start moving the ball quicker and more decisively. I'm benchmarking against rival teams and we just have players who don't see things as quick and, something that money has nothing to do with, want an extra touch or five instead of zipping it about at the first time of asking. They're capable of doing that, if they did things would be so much easier.

So winning, losing, or drawing I'd like to see us move the ball much sharper second half. I don't think West Ham will be as poor again and inevitably will have a bit of a go at some point so we need to step it up in any case.

Now on to the second half, where everyone will forget (or just fail to notice in the first place, in their blinkered hatred of him) how good Sissoko was in that half, and go back to moaning about him and calling him shit again.

Don't think it was a bad half at all, I thought we would be under quite a bit of pressure from West Ham but we've either negated that a bit or they've sat back. Of course we'd love to create more but this isn't exactly an easy match.

Happy for Sissoko and it's actually promising as we know we can get something out of him. Even though his assist was from the right, he's much better when generally operating more centrally. Looks like he's got a bit more confidence as he's run with the ball a bit too.

Just really hope we kill them off now.

I agree, Sissoko's had a good few games recently.

His big problem is that he's never just "alright". Whatever he does is either good or shocking.
Yeah for all the good that Sissoko does. And he is a major part in why we are winning this match.

There is still that element of what's coming next to his game. Even when dribbling at a relatively slow pace the ball will go at weird angles off every touch..
I suppose If he doesn't know where the ball's going how can the defenders...

We are seeing the Lamela we were meant to sign from Roma at present.... in awesome form and its great to have him scoring especially whilst rest of team is low on goals...

COYS - get a 2nd at start of 2nd half and kill the tie as they will improve

We need to keep the crowd out of it this half.

Nothing to incite or fire them up.

Keep in total control.

COYS!
