Aaah yes. Back to proper football. Just really interested to see how we play. Have absolutely no expectations one way or the other tbh.

I can't remember going into a season with so little idea of what the team will be.

We can assume that Loris, Verts, Naughton and Eriksson will definitely play but only guess the other seven.

Hasnt Pochettino said he is unsure if he will pick them.

Just want to win, cant lose to them again

Head Coach Mauricio hasn't ruled out the chances of Nacer Chadli, Mousa Dembele, Paulinho or Jan Vertonghen - the last of our players to return to pre-season training after the World Cup - or Vlad Chiriches (back), Michael Dawson (ankle) and Kyle Walker (pelvis) playing a part at Upton Park.

"Tomorrow we’ll decide our squad of 18 players to go to West Ham," said Mauricio after training on Thursday. "We need one day more to analyse and decide what’s best for the team."

Cannot wait! Do not know what to expect but although I want us to win, I would not be suicidal if we didn't

Ridiculous game, makes me so angry even thinking about it. Stupid tactics, no width, all of our players running into the middle of the pitch and playing into West Ham's hands, Defoe playing over Soldado and doing f-all, Townsend blasting shots into Enfield, then Fat Sam's smug walrus face after the match saying that if he was called Sam Allerdichi he'd be managing Real Madrid, wanker.

Lack of defensive midfielder, left back and playing Dawson stands out there.

Can't remember too much about it but I think we had the better of the possession but just couldn't defend when they broke on the counter

Pochettino has never won against West Ham United as a manager. 1-1, 0-0 and 1-3 were the 3 results. Time to change that, please.

Would love to start the season off with a win, particularly against the Spammers for slaughtering us three time last season which is still a bitter pill to swallow.
Therefore, and in order to hedge my bets, I've booked for this Saturday a 7am appointment with the local Mayan witch doctor in Chichicastenango, take round a couple of sacrificial chicken and a gallon of the local moonshine for his hocus-pocus ritual, bless my lucky stars, keep my fingers crossed and wear all my charmed Spurs paraphernalia and know that a win is on its way.
Oh!!!! and the porno kings fire Fat Sam.
