Dele Alli will be hoping for better luck over the course of the 2019/20 season after a frustrating campaign for Spurs. Such a key player for Mauricio Pochettino's team following his move from MK Dons back in 2015, injury restricted the player to only 38 games in all competitions for the club.

I think the rest for him and Kane this summer will do them both a world of good and will see them return to similar levels like 2016/17

Alli now heads into a summer break, although it will be a short one because of his need to fully recover. “I have a schedule from the club and it’s important I keep ticking over,” he said. “I’ll put my feet up for a week or so,then back to work and make sure I’m ready for pre-season.”
