I've really not been following the stadium developments too closely, but I heard some time ago that the plan was to remain in the current stadium while the majority of the new one gets built around it. Then, as many seats as possible would be put in along with the new playing surface and we move in, while the old stadium gets demolished and the remainder of the new one is complete. That plan made alot of sense. So what the hell happened to it? And why did Levy scrap it before he had another plan? Now we don't know where the hell we're going, nothing confirmed at all. It seems insane.

I believe it's the building of the retractable pitch which as caused us to move out for one season, which wasn't in the original plans.

So Levy preferenced some deal with the NFL over the ability to stay put and instead just assumed that it will all work out okay and we'll find somewhere? Great work Levy! Has this guy heard of risk assessment? First he fires managers before lining up replacements, now this?

The NFL Deal is a big big deal, tbf. The 'cost' and inconvenience of relocating for a season or even 2 is absolute peanuts compared to the potential upside of the NFL deal

Read the NFL deal thread for some insight if you haven't already.

I'm not talking about the cost and inconvenience of relocating somewhere, I'm talking about the deal was made before we knew where the fuck that somewhere would be! And I'm questioning the logic behind that. Like I said, no risk assessment.

Wow. You get a snippet and then go on a rant at levy having no fucking clue what you are talking about.

If we move out we can get the building done a lot cheaper and quicker.

The retractable pitch is not just for nfl. But for concerts, xgames etc... The more activities we can put on the more money we make.

Nfl means we will probably get the best stadium naming rights deal in history. Meaning we can pay for the stadium.

The roof has to be put on in one go so we need to move out.

Now did levy make the right choice?

Again you are talking out of your arse. We have mk dons lined up if we can't get wembley or the os.
