I'd love to have the feeling of winning something again. Feels boring always going through the motions every season

Gabbiadini reminds me of Niles Crane

I do think Southampton should have defended that better, not so much the cross but the build up to the cross. Take out martial

This may be a less prestigious competition than the FA Cup, but I much prefer it. The final is usually much better then the FA Cup which is usually just two sides trying not to lose.

I know who you were on about. I just wish you would pack it in sometimes. You're normally bashing Kane but then, in the same breath, you relentlessly defend a guy who could not hold a handle to him, and is not making the cut because he hasn't shown enough when he's been called upon.

Come on JH, that's bollocks. I've just been realistic. This notion that we (or any team really) are going to have an uber striker to play, and and then another uber striker off the bench is fanciful bollocks, it's daft for you and others get all bent out of shape that we haven't.

On that basis I think many of Kane's performances have been sub standard this year - don't you ? And that everyone's expectations of Janssen, compared to the actual chances he's got have been unrealistic. He played early on when we were pretty poor as a team, other than that he's been used ad hoc in mash mash cup sides. And I don't think he's lacked effort and shown some decent hold up play, for a back up striker in a team like ours, for a young kid having his first year in England that's acceptable for me. I'm not fucking moist about the guy, but then I don't expect to be for a player who even if he scored three hayracks in his first three games would still end up back on the bench as soon as Kane was fit, and I'm Ok with that.

Ibra is a special player, but the love-in over a free header from 5y in the middle of the goal is a bit excessive.

Utd would've been in full blown crisis mode if they'd lost. As it is, this could herald the start of something more significant for them under Mourinho. One competition down, one trophy in the bag.

Gabbiadini was killing them with his movement.

Why not save that sub for extra time?

Typical Utd. Things just fall in place for them.
