As for our rival's fans, I often see some funny stuff in the comments section of articles but forget where they are etc. But I just have to share this one.

I know I can be a touch acerbic at times and dismissive if I think someone is being obtuse or plain idiotic. But what do you think to this Citeh fan? Have I been a touch harsh with him? Does his opinion warrant consideration? Or is he just a blinkered loon?

http://www.hitc.com/en-gb/2017/06/1...ing-about-leaving-tottenham-hotspur/page/1-2/

You're idiots, Dele Alli is not a Manchester City target, Walker is. Manchester City don't need Alli, they have far better Midfielders in Sane, Sterling, Silva, Bernardo and De Bruyne.

Mind you, he did get you're correct :)

Alli has won or done fuck all in his entire career worth shouting about, David Silva, Bernardo Silva and De Bruyne are far better and far more experienced than your little chump. Sane is a far stronger young prospect at making it to world class level, Dele Alli will be lucky to exceed average in Europe. I wouldn't want him at City at all. In fact I'll be honest and say I didn't even want Sterling at City either but have warmed to him and think if he knuckles down could be a bigger asset, all these current English crop are over rated including Alli. You got lucky with Gareth Bale but even then, Real Madrid would make any player seem better than he actually is. As much as I detest Ronaldo, it's Ronaldo who's still running the show on and off the field with Bale in his shadow. Lol all you like numpty.

Two seasons ago, TWO FCUKING SEASONS AGO, no consistency at all. Stop talking blinkered bullshit. Level headed, I'm the only level headed one here you mouthy fcuk. I even admitted one of our own English players weren't as great as Liverpool fans made him out to be YET, I'm the only one stating all England's young senior national players are over rated, not just Dele Alli, the moron claiming i'd be singing a different tune if City signed Alli? About as much as I've been singing a different tune about Nolito, Navas, Bravo and Otamendi, never wanted them signed for City, never contributed shit to City.
Alli is nothing special and has again won fcuk all worth writing home about. At least Silva's won a World Cup, at least Bernardo Silva has made statement at European level through many age groups. De Bruyne well, the entire Premier League knows very well that Alli doesn't even come close and Leroy Sane well, he makes Alli look pap average.

We'll see who are the superior players and club in 2017/18 gobshyte, none of your players even come close to the likes of David Silva or Sergio Aguero who are still in their prime. Technically you only finished ahead of us this season because we fucked up by not replacing aging and failed defenders. We'll be correcting that mistake this season and you can find yourselves right back where you belong. You haven't won jack shit for years, hell even Arsenal managed to win the FA Cup last season. Consider this one sole season in the Champions League as a free gift from the rest of us because you'll be back in Europa League in no time flat, that's a nailed on certainty.

They are just legends ... 11 unbeaten games, cup and league, came to WHL and the recycling centre came a calling.

Why are they so insistent that the players they buy must have won something? Alli hasn't won anything therefore we don't want him and he's shit. Oh OK, so by that logic Harry Kane is shit as well because he hasn't won anything either. Guess what dickheads, Sane hadn't won't anything either prior to joining you and still hasn't won anything because you were shit last season despite all the money you spent.

Do they not realise how lucky they are? They won the lottery and bought all the trophies they have, if it wasn't for their investors no one would know who the fuck they are outside the UK. They never have been a big club, they never will be a big club, just a rich one.

It's almost 10 years since Sheikh Mansour took them over. There's now a load of City fans around 18-21 years old who have only ever known 'this' Man City and are therefore oblivious to how lucky they are. They're only going to get more and more obnoxious.

Red Cafe during the England v Venezuela WC Under 20 Final:

--------------------------------------------------------
England players are so good on the ball. Refreshing to watch. Onomah has controlled the game so far. Didn't know he could play as a centre midfielder.

He's been excellent. Stepping out with the ball and is the player who is breaking through the Venezuelan press.

Onomah should break through for Spurs next season, looks like an ideal back up for Dembele. (y)

Onomah looks far too good for this level

Onomah looks very good as well. Solanke has been wank indeed.
-----------------------------------------------------------

I then went on to Rawk to read their views. Hardly any mention of Josh. They're complimentary about Lookman. A lot complaining that Ojo didn't get picked and then should've been on earlier. And of course they're watching Solanki closely and there's a lot of heated debate about him:

------------------------------------------------------------
WOW - Everton might win something here!

Solanke kind of reminds me of Diego Costa. He looks like him too.

Need to get Ojo on in place of the number 18 on the right. Is it dowell? He's done nothing.

Solanki doesnt even look good for this level, first time I watch him and hes been utter shite.

Get Ojo on for Dowell.

Ojo will have far freedom than against Italy and he created havoc against them, England need him sooner rather later

Ojo time!

Haha time for Ojo.

Ojo looking class!

Walker-Peters looks a talent. He's got pace and power.

I suspect he'll be the next very good full-back at Spurs

Guessing you're on about Walker-Peters? He's been quality all tournament.

Those writing off Solanki behave yourselves he's only young. A couple of years working with Klopp and he will be fine. England would not have reached the final without him.

It'll be interesting to see how many of these do make it and whether they will be able to play with this much confidence and ambition when they make the senior team. I'd say Walker-Peters, Lookman and Onomah have the best chance based off today alone.

Is Onomah the spurs player? Im sure they have a player with a similar name. (Gooner on there)

Yeh it's him, looks good.

Onomah is way off the Spurs first team

I don't think he's way off, Pochettino has given him some chances but he is still young. He has a good coach to develop him and he looked very young in midfield (I think he's normally a winger?), he might get some opportunities in that position.

He's a midfielder who Pochettino doesn't really trust there and has been playing him wide. The change to a back three makes it harder for him to break through as well as I can't see him getting in at wing back and Harry winks seems to be the young midfielder who's trusted. I mean he could still make it there as he's very good, but think he's some way off at the moment.

Josh Onomah was absolutely outstanding today. Walker-Peters and the keeper Woodman were both exceptional too. I was very impressed with the quality on show in this game.

----------------------------------------------------------------------

I'll leave you wish this little gem on Rawk...........................................

walker peters looks good at left back, if spurs sign sessegnon then we should make a move for him

I know it's not what Chelsea's fans are saying about us, but I'm sure they'll have a few things to say when they see this....

One of my mate's kids had a tournament at Stamford Bridge today. He's left a few presents for the fans...

He posed for a quick pic with the mascot, armed with a sticker...

And Terry got it.

Would've preferred the sticker over Terry's putrid mouth but still a good effort (y)

Here's one from justarsenal - I suspect that, despite all their bluster and bravado at winning the FA Cup and mouthing off that they've had a better season than us, this is what a lot of them are really feeling:

http://www.justarsenal.com/arsenal-to-beat-spurs-to-transfer-of-bellerin-replacement/73583

Are we signing anyone?

Utd is signing belotti, morrata and the swedish cb

City signing sanchez and signed 2 brazilian

Chelsea sigining bakayoko with him and kante…formidable

Spud signing lemar

Title and top 4 lost before the season starts

Same old story

We cannot do the business like others as simply. We cannot offer them champions league football. World class players are reluctant to come to arsenal. For these past two or three seasons, arsenal had champions league, but was not ready to spend big. I think now they are ready to spend, but they have no pulling power without champions league.

We haven’t been able to compete with other clubs in signing players since David Dein left. Sanchez and Ozil were surplus to requirements at Barca and Real. We got lucky with Sanchez but he wants to move to a club with ambition and no one wants to pay money for Ozil so he will go for free on a Bosman transfer in January.
Add to that the other players on 12 months left, Ox Wilshere, Ramsey, Gibbs, Mert and Cazorla. Granted Gibbs will probably be sold, Mert may retire and Cazorla will be assessed mid year.
I think Arsenal should cash in on Wilshere right now but they need to resign Ox and Ramsey. Say what you like about them, Ox will come good and no one in the squad works harder on and off the ball than Ramsey.
Arsenal can’t afford to lose too many players or they will be falling even further behind.

No one wants Ozil but Arsene in severe pressure to offer him 270 000 per week.
Sell these players: Ozil, Giroud, Jenkinson, Debuchy, Mert, Montreal (not Gibbs), and Chambers.
Activate buy back clause for Serge Gnabry, bring back Joel Campbell, and buy Aubumeyang and James Rodriguez/Julian Draxler

[WTF - what have the Canadians got to do with it?]

Judging by the ratings (limited though they are as a straw poll), they seem pretty divided. Excellent, like the civil war recommence (y)

I dont like this thread being away from the front page, so I thought I would post some Newcastle thoughts on next season's 1st fixure(s)

Spurs at home is going to be a miserable start to the season
urgh.gif

We struggled last time we played them I guess...

We shall be top of the league by end of September
f_ale.gif

Nice 3 points to start the season

Could pick up 18 points from those first 6 games.

Happy Moussa Sissoko's Day.
cheers.gif

They are going to destroy us!
I don't care what players we get in the summer, if they play anything like they did last season then it'll be a massacre.

On Sunday I was fortunate to cab the legend Pat Jennings, when we got to St George's Park I asked someone if they would take a picture on my phone, he had a Stoke badge on, and his support was confirmed when I viewed the picture, his extra finger was in the top corner of the screen:rolleyes:

anyway he did say that a lot of Stoke fans know they will never do much, but believe we have been very unlucky the last 2 seasons especially with the style of football we played, and said a lot are hoping if they can't do it:ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO: they hope we win it:)

Anyway While sitting waiting on my school run this afternoon one of the other drivers that can't sit still and is a little hyper came up to have a chat as I sat there ready the Ross Barkley thread. He asked me

Any exciting news?

Me: nah just reading a Spurs forum, and reading others views on possible transfers

He replied: oh right, my cousin plays for Arsenal "Jack Wilshere!".

Me: well I don't like you then, and can tell you every Spurs fan hates Wiltshire, just as much as they hate the goons if not more.

Him: well I doubt he will be playing there next season

Me: won't change our views, he is a fucking ****, especially after the 2 cup celebrations.

Him: he is a wrong'en. (Now starting to walk away)

Me: yeah heard he likes a bit of puff

He never answered, but nodded his head as he walked off

Any luck he won't be pestering me anymore :ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:
