10- 0 all Pardew own goals.

We are going to be overun in midfield thats for sure. Cabaye was a bit tooo tired to play last saturday. Now we have just sold our reliable ex captain I hope Cabaye gets a good nights kip. Spuds 3-0

Getting the same sense of foreboding as I did a few days before every game from Jan - April.

Standard regulation 3-0 Spurs win. They don't break a sweat. We look totally unfit and devoid of any tactics.

Pardew moves on to Blackpool and Bournemouth where anything other than 2 wins will see him sacked.

When the chips were down, the old Palace would pull a result out the bag. Do we still have it in us? I don't know. Lloris is out so thats a start.

Spurs 2 Kane & Lamela
Palace 0

A couple of asides:
1 - They do this weird thing of predicting the attendance, and judging by how many are predicting an attendance of 34-36,000 I'm guessing not many of them know we've knocked down the NE corner of the Lane.
2 - In their scorer predictions, a lot of them are predicting Lamela to get on the scoresheet. He seems to really be changing perceptions of him both in our fanbase and among other fans too.

I just remembered Puncheon's penalty from a couple of seasons ago.

Even with the 'amazing' season they had last year, they still bottled it and finished behind Arsenal who had a really poor season.

Beggars belief. Written by a ten year old with Alzheimer's, turrets and Parkinson's whilst drunk and on drugs.

I was there at that game and sat in parallel to the penalty spot in west lower, funniest thing I've seen at a football game.
My seat's in Block 31, East lower by the Park Lane. The way I remember it, the ball followed my line of sight if I was looking at the upper tier of the corner between the West stand and the Paxton.

Palace fans aren't too confident are they?

Sound like they dislike pardew as much of the rest of us too

They only won 2 of their last 19 league games last season and started with a home defeat to West Brom - it would be somewhat bizarre if their fans still thought he was great, despite the FA Cup run last season. Also their big summer signings are a player who was relegated with Newcastle and (presuming it goes through) a player who spent much of last season failing to live up to a price tag which they have almost paid again for him.

That's not to say that I expect tomorrow to be easy - far from it - but Palace's form since Xmas has been eerily reminiscent of Aston Villa's in 2015.

This is the exact sort of game we tend to make a bollocks of, against an unfancied team when we're looking good. The number of times we've been firm favourites for a game only for some shit opposition to belt in a screamer over the years, infuriating. It reached peak irritation a few years back when Simon Cox scored one of the goals of the season for West Brom at the Lane, having gone about 4,000 years without scoring before that. Bet your house on Lee Chung-yong to score from 60 yards.

Yeah, Palace certainly are a good bet to struggle this year. We really should be able to breeze past them - but, really, with the Premier League now, it just takes a few players of ours not to be on their game and anything is possible. We should wipe the floor with them, but we're not up to speed just yet. It's early enough in the season for anything to happen.

Being over run in midfield means nothing if you cant link with the attack. So even if we over run them, we likely wont do much as there is little to no chance Poch changes the XI outside of Vorm for Lloris

We play Kane and Janssen and blow them out of the stadium in the first half. That's all.

No brainer really. Only need one DM and play both Janssen and Kane against a poor team at home and it's fill ya boots time. Anything less than 3 goals and I'm gonna be disappointed

I like the idea of pulling them apart with our usual system and then, when they're down, just to be a ballache, chuck Jansen in and see if he can inflict even more pain.

What happened to him?
He's prolly grown up a bit and realised that he ain't gonna get laid if he keeps making a twat of himself on YouTube.
It's the circle of life.
I love the fact that he had to keep stopping and correcting himself. "Gareth Barry er Gareth Bale"
