Sorry yes, I'm going between databases and WhoScored doesn't go back beyond a certain date. The overall is from UEFA but they don't do season breakdowns (or my blurry eyes can't find them)

Point is you can't pick and choose someone's record. He has 11 goals in 14 starts in Europe over the last 5 years if that's your jam and you want to ignore the 11 sub appearances.

Out of interest, can you remember how many he's scored from the bench in Europe?

Edit: thanks for answering the last. That still doesn't work as he had whatever the total minutes he had as a sub to score too and only scored once. You can't just rule that time out as moot. Is why goals per minute is much more useful than per game in this case but fuck it if I can be arsed to work that out!
Of course those minutes count but just pointing out # of games is even more misleading.

He scored once ever 161 mins (1 goal every 1.78 mins) which is the equivalent of 10 goals in 18 full games.

Not saying that haha saying everyone bashing his EL record when they don't realise he played 6 scoring 1 when he was a youth player season after his Orient loan just before the Milwall loan. They see it as within last few years since his breakthrough the stats don't show the real story!

Which would be 0.55 ratio, 8th best, and importantly ahead of Soldado (y)

You get the impression last night was a seminal moment in people's thinking about Kane, almost like they've finally accepted they can't dispute his quality any more, every time they say "yeah but he hasn't done this or that yet" he goes and does it.

Anyone with any doubts over Kane as a striker literally should watch another sport.

They boy has everything and different types of goals.

Kane was also rested for Europa games against many of the lesser teams so I've no doubt he would've bumped his tally up by some way if he'd played in the 'easier' games.

Anyway, 2 goals against a European giant (I think BvB can be considered maybe a Hodor if not a Wun Wun) confirms to everyone he can do it on any stage in the world now.

I really get the impression he's a homeboy and would love to stay here for life but let's not kid ourselves, if we finish 5th etc two years in a row and Madrid put in a £200m bid, I can't see him staying, especially as he's mega ambitious and wants to be known as the best. He has to be in the CL season after season.

Erm, ^ that's what my mate thinks anyway and he's a Bournemouth fan. *booooof, back on topic....

Some good banter from Real Madrid fans in their Kane thread:

From 2015, lots of posts similar to this:
Dybala is veryyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy well, Kane is another roadrunner with no notions or techniques or tactics of football, the closest I want to Madrid is in Marbella turning red like a crab.

From today:

I was looking for your thread and I find this, poor Kane, we gave him everywhere and the wrong thing we were almost all, is in the TOP5 of the best 9 in the World.

It is what happens in ForoRealMadrid when you are 9, score goals, you measure more than 1.85 and to top it you are English.

The only option that has this lad to play in Madrid is to be nationalized Franco-Algerian.
Because as I arrived being English, I would play less than mayoral.

Or nationalize Welsh and put on blowing ears.

Have no idea how Dortmund fans, and fans of other clubs, have the temerity to complain about the referee. The lino got one call wrong for them, the rest of the decisions were heavily in their favour. Ref was constantly breaking up our attacks by blowing up for clean tackles. Dembele (I think?), Dier and Vertonghen all received yellow cards (the latter a red) for nothing tackles.

I wish they were still thinking he was shit. Last thing we want is Kane being lauded by the Real Madrid fans.

Nobody with more than half a bollock for a brain thinks he's shit anymore.

He's one of the best young players in the world. We can't hide him away. Fortunately he's one of our own and won't be walking away for a few years yet.

Now can I give myself an optimistic rating please?

This doesn't even mention the time he blew up for a head injury when we had two players run clear because a BVB player kicked the ball into his team mates face. The head injury rule is not there for shit like that

Dier got a yellow for winning the ball and Sokratis (or Sahin?) got away with literally throwing Kane on the floor
