Kumb on why they have a rivalry with, and hate Spurs:

A recurrent theme in this thread on our 'rivalry' is the fact that we have delusions of grandeur and act like Charlie Big Potatoes when all we've won is...

"One FA Cup and a couple of League Cups in my lifetime, an illustrious list that includes the likes of Portsmouth, Wigan, Middlesbrough and Birmingham."

Hmm. An illustrious list indeed, although there's one team which has won fuck all in that time and so doesn't even make that list. I wonder if the West Ham fan can work out which team that is.

Oh, and this made me laugh. Come on, which one of you reprobates was this?

"My brother used to live in Hampstead, so to watch a cup game that was sold out we decided to meet up half way in a pub to watch it together. Stupid, stupid idea. About 50 Spurs fans and about 5 of us Hammers. It was the one where Rebrov scored twice and they won 3 - 2. Obviously it was a bit heated, and we came very close to getting a kicking, which I can accept, but there was one **** at the end dancing in front of us, singing the Eastenders theme tune and shouting "**** Dirty Den, **** you mugs". My god, if I'd had a gun, I honestly think I would have shot him. No grace, no class. Death would have been too good."

"**** Dirty Den". :ROFLMAO:

If he's got real mates bobbins...they should be telling him he' made himself look a right c***. I've already formed an opinion of him, not even seen his face!

Imagine the kind of morons that guy has as friends, I bet they loved it. Just like the scumbag Spurs fan throwing piss over opposition fans, I bet his mates thought he was a right lad.

I get it and that view won't change until we start winning things.

We can paint things however we want but ultimately this year marks 27 years without an FA Cup win. 27 years!!!!! To put this in context this is our 3rd longest run in the history of the completion without winning it and worrying close to the 34 years we went without winning it before we did the double. Arsenal have won it as many times in the last 4 years as we have in the last 40. That's football dark ages stuff.

I believe we are on the right track but throwing ourselves out of cup competitions we believe to be beneath us whilst continuing to win nothing will only perpetuate this image.

That bottom quote sums it up really. I genuinely believe there are lots of them that hate us more than they love themselves... so much hate around that football club, there really isn’t much to like about them.

Hoddle not fit to lace Trevor Brooking’s laces is possible tible the most deluded thing I’ve ever read anywhere. Followed reasonably closely by ‘Dier is a poor man’s Noble’. No mate, Noble is a poor man’s Noble.
Just to get this thread back on track

Imagine if this happened at the Lane....

I’d love to see the equivalent ‘opponents fans’ thread on the Arsenal forums to see what they’ve said about this....

Haha the Gooner fans around him look like they have been mildly inconvenienced. Interrupted from reading a book or something.:D

Reminds me of the famous Fast Show sketch:

Yeah remember that sketch well .

I know this probably isn’t the thread for it ( as it’s about the opposition), but this sketch has reminded me of Boxing Day at Wembley.

I had the archetypal “football tourists” next to me. Couple turned up half hour into the game, clearly straight from the Boxing Day sales with huge Primark bags ( at least if it had been Armani etc I could have retained an ounce of respect, but fucking Primark  - get out :D).

They then proceeded to spend the rest of the game on their phones and social media taking selfies. At HT they seemed bemused that people wanted to get by them to go somewhere causing them to move their massive collection of chav shopping bags.

Second half was more selfies, more phone etc, although they occasionally broke their social occasion to randomly shout “Kane!” before going back to their sad social media lives .

As you can tell it annoyed me a bit :D.

It’s becoming more and more common, I worry what it’s going to be like at the new stadium.

I am surprised that more people don't see that Wenger is a man of high principles and great intellect.

He is driven to make his mark by leaving things better than they were before. It makes him look bad at times like this, but he will stick to his principles to try to change the system when he sees inadequacies.

This character trait has flaws for Arsenal as he is above winning at all costs.

Really not sure whether to  or . :bored:

I bet he really took the moral high ground last night and gave Wheelchair a rather good telling off for
diving as well.

The uncomfortable truth is that every club has moronic, repulsive fans. Every club also has perfectly decent people who support them but we have the ability to filter out these facts when it suits our agenda.
