It's better to win one and lose one than draw those two games. Do that all through the season =76 points.
best post of the season so far.......Hang on...did your owner give you access to his PC? A Lab that can do times tables (albeit with the odd error).

We beat Dortmund we were good but.......they were poor
We beat Madrid we were good but........they were poor
We beat Pool we were good but..........they were poor
We beat Yanited we were good but......they were poor

This has been the press general consensus in all these games.

Our press when done right forces mistakes, stops teams taking risks, and puts doubt into the mind of opposition players. These teams didn't just play badly, we made them look poor because we stopped them playing, and forced them to make mistake after mistake. We like all teams are at our best when we play to our strengths, our biggest strength iIMO is the team press. we should use it against every strong team. It has been my biggest frustration thus far, that Poch has been switching our style of play too often and we, again imo, just haven't used our pressing game anywhere near enough in the first half of the season.

Dude, I don't disagree we were good, very good. I didn't say we weren't.

But United didn't repeatedly pass the ball around their own defence under no pressure from us due to us being good. They didn't kick the ball out of play through un forced errors due to us being good. They are just a negative team that don't go for it and have some players that would never ever have been regulars for them 15+ years ago.

Re: Liverpool

Spurs have exactly same pulling power as us at moment imo

I would agree with that poster there was a time when a player would choose them. That has changed. What they've had to in the last 2-3 seasons is pay higher wages for a player to choose them over us... From recent memory i would say Mane' is a prime example where wages was the determining factor.

United haven't outplayed us in a game since Pochettino's first game at old Trafford for spurs (3-0)

The last 3 away games at old Trafford have been borefests where they've nicked it by a goal, often out of nothing.

And Pogba, I'd pick Sissoko over him. At least I wouldn't have too watch endless hype on social media trying to make him out to be one of the best in the world.
He wasn't even the best in their team last night and they were fucking shite.
He is almost a parody of a footballer in modern society. Everything is a trademark and designed to get internet hits .
No doubt when he retires from playing he'll be moved over to united's social media team.

Totally, wages is about the only thing they have that is better IMO (admittedly I’m probably biased), but other than wages we are based in London, have better training facilities, new stadium coming etc etc.

PS more recent stats - manager's away win rate against top 6 managers since start of 2015/16 season

1. Guardiola, Man City - 38%

2. Klopp, Liverpool - 36%

3. Conte, Chelsea - 25%

4. Mourinho, Man Utd - 9%

5. Pochettino, Spurs - 8%

6. Wenger, Arsenal - 0%
I’m not doubting this info. But Maybe the stats to show the win rate against the bottom 4 teams would be a good stat to see as well. If we lose to the top 4 away in a season the most points we are going to lose is 12 points. Yes it makes a difference. But even the season we lost out to Leicester. We didn’t lose the league because we lost away against the top teams. We lost some easy win games against the lower teams. And to fucking Leicester. Who we absolutely bartered. They are the ones that make the real difference.

Alli seems to get a pasting by every teams fans these days-they all hate him which I absolutely love

I wonder what the posts would say if there were rumours that he could be joining their team.

"Would love him here. Would give our midfield some much needed fight and his skill can change a game .Hope we get him"

All the hatred is absolute jealosy so lets just sit back in our armchairs with a brandy, cigar and enormous grin and see it for what he is.

Any normal educated fan would love him in their team.

This kind of over-analysis is pointless and misleading. We see it every year, but it's not revealing or illuminating.

We didn't lose "because" of one game or another, one type of opponent or another. We lost because, overall, we accumulated fewer points. Three points against one team are worth as much as three points against any team.

The only remotely material argument is that a loss against a direct rival for the championship is more damaging, because of the "six-pointer" issue: they gain when we lose. That would contradict your point. But even that is basically a distraction. A club doesn't fail to win a 20-team, 38-match league because of one result or one type of result. It loses because of its overall [lack of] consistency over the 38-match season.

And there are no "easy win games" in the Premiership. None at all.

There will be probably be plenty of England fans willing him on during the World Cup finals.

so that is ten games plus however many each has played this season, Gardiola wasn't there in 15/16 was he, anyway if City have 38% round it up to 40% of ten games is four wins isn't it? Seems to me top six sides all find it difficult to win away at the other top six, no?
