Makes me laugh when people say "what if Harry gets injured, we don't have a replacement"

If any team in the world had 2 Harry Kane's then one of them would be getting sold sharpish for 250 million

No team in world football has 2 Harry Kane's

Rangers had 2 Andy Gorams

Don't get the Harry Kane injury logic as well, it's like people have goldfish memory...

Harry Kane has been injured, last season, he missed a fair few games. Not only did we survive without him, we did quite well. Son stepped up big time. What a top top footballer we have in him.

Tried to find some comments from Newcastle fans on some forums and couldn’t really decipher anything that made any sense. If there is one club out there that is probably as disillusioned with their summer as we are it is them.

The geordies are in permanent state of delusion or disillusion.

Excited tbh. These are there for the taking, I mean they've got a higher net spend than us and they haven't signed any **** but not freshening up even a winning team is a danger for them.

2-0 Muto and Shelvey

Took the Sky boost for Perez and Son both to score so I'm hoping for at least 1-1

2-0 for Spurs, Kane to break his August hoodoo with a brace.

I will be doing my match day summary of the ref as usual anyone who moans about me doing it can kiss JPF's arse as he bares it outside Fenwicks window when we win 2-1

Hard fought 4-0 win for the Toon, damn these early kick offs, means you have to be in the Boozer at 10-30ish the barstewarts

We don't have a bad record against these lot. We're at home, and if we are focused, organised and giving 100% effort we have a decent chance of making up for the gulf in quality between the two sides. I'm a little worried with Lejeune being out and how his replacement will fair, plus the lack of firepower up front (I'm guessing Rafa won't throw Rondon and possibly Muto in just yet).

Maybe we can scrape a 1-1 draw

I reckon Shelvey to get sent off, Kane to injure Schar with a brutal tackle and we lose 2-0.

Going for a 1-0 win - Rondon

3-1 win ( Perez 2 & Kenedy )

2 - 1 WIN

0 - 3 unfortunately for Spuds

I think we might nick a point but I am not very confident. Will go for 2-2 draw

Going to this one so would like to be optimistic.
A draw would do but our defence looks weaker without Lejeune.

1-1 or 1-2

we're their bogey team 2 : 1 Toon

2-1 with one of Rondon/Muto getting a debut goal.

Yet they technically brought in 7 players, and their MP tried to force parliament to make Mike Ashley spend more money. Bit embarrassing in context.

Not saying Ashley is by any means closer to an Abramovich than he is to an Oyston, but fans seem to be far too obsessed with the dick-swinging of the transfer market.

Prepare for a long season of comments referring to teams as ‘these’, my absolute pet hate and makes everyone sound like scousers

Precious?

It's childish and exactly the sort of thing Chelski do and I like to believe we're above that.

That's all.
You should pay attention more to when we sing it, u probably cant hear whats being sung up there there on your high horse though.
As i said, it nearly always in retaliation.

It's not just the lack of transfer market spending with Ashley though, it's also a lack of a long term plan for Newcastle in the way that Levy has for Spurs. There seems to be a lack of ambition beyond mid table.

He wants to sell, so I don't blame him to an extent, but it's not like they're not bringing in decent players or managers
