If they win tomorrow and thats a big if, you know they will celebrate it like they have just won the world cup. I think that will say more as to where the two teams are at the moment.

There will be a million cringing dressing room selfies.

I took the unorthodox step of looking up what our opponents' fans are saying about us.

There is a poll on https://arsenal-mania.com/forum/thr...rday-nov-18-12-30-gmt-sky-sports.30568/page-4 predicting the result for tomorrow:

I've been on several of their blog sites, etc., over the last few days. Amazingly, most are just extensive brag-rants about how much bigger than us they are and, relatedly, how much more than us they have won.

Comfort blanket, innit (y)

Yeah. It's exactly the same as when I point out that someone's "opinion" is demonstrable nonsense based on false facts and the reply comes immediately: "I have a right to my opinion". Indeed, and no one said you didn't.

Saying someone's opinion is incorrect (or that their topknot looks ridiculous, or that their argot is incomprehensible) is not the same as denying them the right to express themselves.
Preach it Fam...

Wicked!

Another twat I can’t stand. Calling us Shadow Dwellers, surprised he even knows what it means. Hoping to see s major meltdown on Arsenal fanTV tomorrow. Hate his voice, but will love to see him cry.

He's worried.

But you obviously do have a problem with it, hence why you insulted them and made a post about it

I just can't see why so many in here have so got worked up about the way two mates talk to each other. Language changes and older generations always moan about it but I'm glad it does otherwise we'd all be walking around grunting to each other.

I don't think anyone has an issue with them saying blud or fam, the issue comes from him saying it virtually 2 or 3 times in every sentence. I know plenty of people who say blud/fam but in the same way as I'd say "mate", they don't use it as a form of punctuation like he does. He clearly puts it on as it's part of his shtick or whatever you want to call it, onscreen persona. He's like a caricature of himself. I don't buy that he sits at home talking to his mates like that.

He might say "Yeah I can't come out tonight fam, I've got to go round to my mum's" but he wouldn't say "Blud, you get me fam, I can't come out tonight fam. Man's gotta go round to my mum's innit blud, you get me fam? Yeah blud".

There really isn't a massive gulf between us and them, if they win tomorrow they will be only one point behind us.

But if we win we'll be 7 points clear :D Glass half full and all that

I'd still have Sanchez in the side instead of Son or Alli tbf.

He'd definitely get into a combined 11 but other than him there really isn't anyone that I'd rather have than who we've got. At a stretch I suppose an argument that Koscielny gets into a back 3 ahead of Dave, but he's not so much better than I'd be desperate to bring him in, he's just more experienced. Dave's ceiling is miles higher so I'd still probably rather have Dave in the team than Koscielny.

The Guardian's combines 11 has Kolasinac instead of Rose and Cech instead of Lloris so fuck knows what they've been smoking over at Guardian Towers this week

So were the people that made this https://twitter.com/Spurs_US/status/910159025169473536

Ideally in the future these people will be Arsenal fans so I can mock and berate them, these kind of cringe merchants should never be above or beyond reproach.

That is one of the most awful things I've ever seen or heard. I wanna take knitting needles to my ears and eyes after watching it. He didn't even use fam or blud even once.

I also like the statement that our players aren't as good as theirs "pre wenger" so apparently now assessing players in comparison means you can also assess from differing time periods.
Prob an age thing as ‘pre wenger’ Özil was 8yrs old and Alli was only 6 months old

Ahhh sod it id still take Alli just for his little baby wave

In actual fact, they've chosen 3 Arsenal players; Koscienly (for Dave), Kolasinac (for Rose - no mention of Davies), and they found a place for Sanchez by arbitrarily moving Dele back to central midfield. o_O
