The general consensus by juve fans is that its a tough tie but much better than it could of been. They think that they are favorites for the tie and our poor form in the league is promising for them, though they recognise that they have hardly been in the greatest form. Ultimately they see us as not to be underestimated but a team they really should beat, particularly if they see themselves as a team who is able to win the competition.
Tbf I think thats largely a fair assumption, though I'm not sure they truly understand the level our team is capable of.

What concerns me is Kane, Eriksen and Alli being closed down like demons and marked out of the game.
Both Real and Dortmund didn’t even bother to try and close us down.

For what its worth this Juve team is still very very good and are one of the teams who are capable of winning the whole thing, but there backline is not what it was. Buffon, unfortunately, is beginning to look his age and they are still struggling to adapt to life without Bonnuci. They have the fourth best defense in the league and exactly the same defensive record we have.
We can really get at their defense if we play son and just run like crazy. What scares me is if we open up to much. Juve like it when teams play in the front foot and just suck the game out of them. I feel we have to play with a lot of speed and not be afraid to invite them onto us and hit them on the break with pace. We do need someone to be real tight on Dyabla, who while an exceptional talent can be marked out of the game. If we do that I think we could get something away and go into the home tie with guns blazing.
