Facebook.

This was posted on Spurs’ official site in response to Harry Kane winning the London footballer of the year award. These were the first 4 replies.

On some of those comments, there were about 20 replies either agreeing or disagreeing with Kane winning before someone mentioned only London based players can win awards. Thick fucking ****s.

Liverpool fans really don’t like us do they :D

It’s impossible to follow football on social media these days, it’s absolutely dominated by bullshit nonsense from foreign “fans” who don’t have a clue what they’re talking about.

Foreign doesn't mean no knowledge. It's simply that clubs like Liverpool and Wenger FC have a wider global reach than we do right now, so they pick up more clowns than we do, and by default that means more clowns from abroad as well and therefore more clowns on social media.

So, yeah, moral of the story is - more clowns!

The fact that most of them ‘follow’ all the top teams on Facebook and not just their own team is embarrassing enough. They’re just waiting for anything they can pounce on. I’d bet a lot of money that lots of Liverpool fans (particularly the foreign lot) have added Spurs on FB just so they can big up Salah whenever there’s a post about Kane.

They’re probably more into bashing other teams than supporting their own. Actually, it’s not just foreign supporters, West Ham fans do that too...

Just wait til the end of the season..

"And the Tottenham Hotspur player of the year is.....Harry Kane"

"Why the fuck wasn't it Salah?"

"Absolute joke, Firmino is a much better player"

Then you will also have...

"The 2018 Golden Boot winner is....Harry Kane"

"Why the fuck wasn't it Salah?"

"He may not have scored as many goals but Firmino is a much better player and should have won it. Absolute joke"

And also...

"The teams relegated from the premier league are....west brom, stoke and swansea"

"Why the fuck wasn't it Salah?"

"Firmino getting shafted out of another award, absolute conspiracy"

Sour grapes...the only way to actually mug off all these twats though is to actually win stuff.

You realise what will happen when we win silverware?

If we win the FA Cup, they'll say - Poch has to win the league the next season otherwise he's failing. Big teams will be in for their players

If we win the UCL, they'll say - Poch has to move to Real/Bayern,Moneybags FC now, Spurs won't be able to keep him. Big teams will be in for their players

If we win the League, they'll say - Poch has to go on and repeat it otherwise they're no better than Leicester. Big teams will be in for their players.

Media will never be happy to give credit where its due. So i just say **** them

Amazes me......all I ever f'ing hear is how much we need to win a trophy or Poch, Harry, Dele etc. will be leaving.

The other night when we played Rochdale that spanner Dempsey that was commentating on BT must have said it at least 3 times during his commentary.

Talksport have phone ins on it, every MOTD and Sky summariser says it, it is constantly in the written press and this dickhead writes an article saying no one notices we don't win trophies!

Wasn't that 3 times every 5 minutes, what with that and confusing KWP for Rose, BT gave VAR a run for its money for most embarrassing performance of the night.

They do have a point but a question which should have even more traction is “how long can teams such as Arsenal carry on paying such exhorbitant salaries to such mediocre players?” Another one is “ how long will it be before Spurs achieve financial parity with Chelsea and Liverpool?” I know the answer will lead us back to talk about trophies, but how about the media exploring the downside for some of the teams we’re threatening?

If we win the FA Cup it’ll be “they only won it because they had an unfair advantage playing home games st Wembley “

“They” will always say a lot of stupid things.

If someone is saying something stupid or illogical it’s best to ignore it.

November 18th 2017 and what our opponents were saying then. Enjoy.

Arsenal 2-0 Spurs

Lad's it's Tottenham

shift in power...... my arse

Gary Neville on Özil: "I've been critical of him at times". understatement of the year (hmmm......really?)

All this powershift and overhyping spurs before come to nothing must be awful day for English media

Never in doubt really. Well done lads. Even if it was only Tottenham.

" Where's that power shift now????""

2-0 north London is ours

Wenger outplayed Pochettino, Guardiola at Wembley, Mourinho, and Conte TWICE in the last 6 month, yet he's supposed to be a tactically shiite manager ... Give me a break, you dont understand football (I wonder if he still has the same view)

And we are yet to face them at our 100% record stadium! Poor Spurs!

"No power shift anymore" ... "Power shift was short lived"

Don't think I could have stomached another year without beating these ****s. Oh to be a gooner. (oh to be a gooner )

I thought they were a part of Europe's elite after beating Real? (er.... Osterunds :D)

Now let's see Spurs go on a downward spiral

Just looked on a sp*rs forum. Loads of them complaining we are basically west ham in disguise because today we "played like world beaters" but will be sh*te for the rest of the season. (we were right then)

This will put a real dent in Spurs ambitions of Putting the Pressure On

It's such a shame this team can't work that hard at least 80% of the game of the championship. If it could we would be genuine contenders. As I've said, we have a better team than the Sp*rs. But there's a lack of work ethic and professionalism that always catches us up. (Championship, this guy knows where they're going)

Hope that'll kick us on now. If Wenger can keep that team for the Prem matches, week in week out, we might get some much needed momentum. :D

Thought the technical ability of our lads were a level above Spuds. They couldn't string two passes together.

We are a few more levels up once Xhaka gets his form up . Bit more upside from the rest of the team though . (once Xhaka gets his form up - good luck with that)

If we can keep playing like that, top 4 will be easy

Oh to be, to be a Gunner! Buzzing right now. Strutting round John Lewis, missed feeling like this after a Derby. From what I've seen on here everyone smashed it. What do we think of Tottenham?

The proper order has been resumed.

Spu*s looked nothing like they'd been built up by the media. No power, no strength, no fight. Power shift, my arse.....

We showed Spurs today what putting the pressure on, and then winning, looks like.

I don't think they can compare their technical ability to ours. They are simply a well drilled defensive side, featuring Harry Kane.

Funny that we still need to play them at home (Wembley).

Fancy us to do them there too. (hope you put your money where your mouth is)

****ing ruined 'em

Tottenham are considered to be doing very well, we're considered a club in turmoil, and there's only one point between us. Levels.

Arsene Wenger -That's the quality of the man, and as much as we have had hard times... it will be a sad day when he goes. (must by Ty posting)

How I wish he would win the title at least once before he leaves...what he could have achieved had he been more ruthless.

I have to say, I know our midfield isn't too clever but Eric Dier is an absolutely shocking footballer.

Today was great it's now doing it consistently and therein rests the problem. The crowd were electric from the whistle as were the players and then will come next week or month where it's flat and wonder wtf happened. (y)

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
*Edited due to shocking grammar:
Spurs remind me of a slightly more entertaining version of Mourinho's Chelsea(the first one) or younger version of Simeone's Athletico Madrid with Costa in it. They are an extremely defensive side where 3 DF and 2 MF are to protect the middle of the pitch.

The other 5 handle the attacking responsibility. They are extremely lucky to have Harry Kane who tend to score all kinda goals(Wonder goals, tap-ins,headers). They are a very good pressing side who scores a lot of goals from winning the ball high up the pitch. Their pressing is as good as Man City's. But Guardiola's team does it with more technical players, whereas Spurs do it with physical players.

And with the ball, Spurs play is very basic. If you watch them regularly, they usually pass among the defenders and wait for an opening/run and pass it long(not high) to one of the attackers or wingbacks. They don't really build with Midfielders at all(Harry Winks is an exception). Their best passers are defenders. The best way to play them is block their defenders from passing vertically which is what we did successfully. Once that is done, all they had was half chances from our mistakes or crosses.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

they arent a technical side by any means. poch has created a very good defensive system and has drilled it into the players. offensively they have a beast up top and play long balls and crosses into him all day, hoping that something happens. wouldnt say theres any bravery in the way they play, only pure solidity and pragmatism. that being said, one piece of praise that i can give them is dembele, who is amazing, he would have been incredible in a possession team like ours.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

No matter how much the media try to portray us as ABYSMAL ARSENAL and no matter how much they try to act like Spurs are a better team with 8-9 players in the combined XI.. one thing always remains:

our superiority.

Always and forever - better than Spurs.

COYG.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

It was only a few days ago some journos and pundits were saying not a single Arsenal player would get in the Spurs side.:lol:

What it does show, is how little 'observers' understand about the game.

We might top this at Wembley later

Which one's that bro, smashing the Spuds, the EFL cup final or the FACup final? (None of those actually)

Maybe it’s just me, but why would you want to follow football on social media anyway? Unless of course none of your real life friends/family/work colleagues have any interest in football.

Thankfully the only people I engage with on the internet who want to talk football are on SC...... which is quite handy as they all support Spurs :D.

I know right! It’s a great coincidence, or a conspiracy.., hmm, yes that must be it, it’s a conspiracy anti spurs agenda, no wait...
