I read the first few Woolwich ones and then thought 'Nah... not today'.
Id rather shove some wasps up my arse.
Once the hurt dies, im sure we'll all realise just how awesome we were over those two legs. I'm pretty much proud of the squad right now.
Apart from that we were awesomeI’m not sure you can say we were awesome. We lost the tie. Had some very good spells, but ultimately weren’t clinical enough and threw in some pretty bad defending at times.
We are competing now against the better teams, unlike last year so progress is definitely being made.
This is FAR from the worst thing that’s happened to us Spurs fans over the last 30 years. Bring it on.. Let Arsenal fans cry over the phone at being 6th. They’re a different breed, not emotionally fit for life.

I hope the players aren't proud, I hope they're angry. Being proud is as if we're a low quality team who against all odds somehow nearly knocked out Juve. We are a fantastic football team with fantastic players. We were the better side for all of both legs except for probably 20mins, hope the players take confidence from that and realise how brilliant they are now and are fuming that they didn't get through.
I can't stand this media bias argument whether its our fans saying Liverpool are the media darlings or vice versa, or any permutation.
It's a complete fiction and imaginary paranoia. As if the media is one homogenous organism that bends towards us indiscriminately; we get a lot of praise, but criticism for losing away to big teams and constant reminders that we haven't won a trophy. Liverpool get a lot of praise but criticism for their defence. Chelsea under Conte get a lot of praise but obvious criticism for their current state. United get praise for their obstinacy, defence and ability to churn out victories but criticism for their unattractive play, Mourinho's lugubrious nature and gamesmanship and the money they spend.
It's only at the extreme ends of the spectrum that City get almost exclusive praise and Arsenal exclusive criticism!
Nowadays most fans read online rather than a whole newspaper.
So a Spurs fan primarily reads about Spurs. So they read the same tired narrative of being legends or a selling club.
People with an average or above IQ see through this but some think it’s an agenda or other clubs don’t get a negative press.
Mostly because they don’t read as many stories about rival clubs.
I wonder if MJ knew this was the legacy he’d leave us with?

Funny, because when I had my Mensa exam 5 years ago my IQ was 131 and I believe that certain sections of the media have an agenda against us, I better call them and make sure they gave me the correct test results.
I guess you must be superior though, us plebeians must be delusional to think that pundits who support other clubs might have an agenda, it’s such a ludicrous proposition that people can be affected by bias isn’t it? I better get my tin foil hat back on and know my place in the intellectual hierarchy.
OR, you could just be wrapped up in your own confirmation bias so much that you refuse to acknowledge the possibility that we are the whipping boys of the media because we aren’t considered a “big club” yet by the wider press as they skew towards the “bigger” clubs and employ many people who have either played for, or support our direct rivals?
I mean, is that even a possibility in your mind? Or am I just imagining the fact that after every game we “bottle it” the media are constantly talking about our players being sold but a club like Liverpool never get this kind of coverage?
I must just be imagining things.
