Had a read of a Swans forum after they game and they are understandably glum, couple of interesting takes though was that Swansea were shit rather than us being good and they really don't seem to rate Abraham who I thought started off really well but then was pretty much out of the game.
That's surprising. I thought Abraham was a real handful who got the better of both Sanchez and Vertonghen a number of times. It was too bad for him that Swansea were so shit and lethargic that they couldn't actually get anyone else up in support of him.

I just watch the highlight. I think Abraham was decent today. His agility was surprisingly good. He knew how to move to the blind spot of the defenders and to get chances (just like his header today)

Defo he was giving Sanchez a terrible time at the start. Then we scored and they just kind of gave up. They’d have been harder if the Ayews were playing as their counters would have improved

Totally agree, which is why I was somewhat surprised. Perhaps it's because he is a loanee so an easy target - something I think our own Josh suffers from at Villa.

With regards to us playing at Wembley...

Maybe at this late stage of the season, it could be perceived as an advantage, but taken over the entire season, playing at a stadium that isn’t your own, should have cost us a lot more points. The fact that it hasn’t (or hasn’t caused as many problems as we feared and others hoped for) shows that we have shown grit and overcome the potential disadvantage.

Also, other players teams are likely to see it as a great opportunity to play at a stadium where many of them might never get a chance to play.

So it goes both ways, and the complaining now is only happening now, because we’re winning - despite almost everyone thinking the opposite would happen at the start of the season.

I disagree, I think playing at Wembley has cost us points this season. I don't think we would have drawn with WBA, Burnley and Swansea

At the beginning of the season every pundit had us down to not qualify for Champions League.
Now we are in the top four and in the semi finals its all unfair.

Media/Pundit Bash.

Meanwhile the Bin liners are Celebrating they have won the Golden boot. Hope Harry comes back and smash's a few hat tricks.

Man U fans complaining about the semi-final being at "home".

Same things applies to the final then should we win in the semi. Are they suggesting the FA CUP Final takes place at some ground other than Wembley should we win our semi?

Beyond parody.....worthy of RAWK at their finest. :):)
Just getting their excuses in early for Mourinho will treat this as an away game and concede 90% possession, which of course he would do even if we were playing at Old Trafford.

Funny how before the season started every pundit and media outlet going had us finishing outside the top 4 because of Wembley, playing their whole season away from home, Wembley hoodoo etc and now we've been winning and are flying its suddenly a fkin advantage.

Oh just Piss Off.

One of the fans quoted wants the FA to remove the unfair advantage by playing the game at a neutral ground, and then suggests Old Trafford.

It's a joke really. As others have pointed out, everyone had us down to do worse this season given the Wembley factor.

Now we've done better than expected it's time to complain? You couldn't make it up lol

We've been at a disadvantage all season and now we get to make up for that, only a little I might add, and the bitching starts!!

RAWK is genuinely split, given that they have issues with each of the semi-finalists (whether team, fans or both).

So who do they want to win?

"None. They're all ****s. It's just slightly differing degrees of wankers."

Hmm. That's not really how a cup competition works. Try Again.

"Think Spurs v Chelsea final. Just adds to their schedule playing catch up"

Superb analysis. Apart from the fact the FA Cup Final comes after the Premier League finishes. Really, they should know how a cup works by now. Klopp gets to the final and loses. Except when he loses in an earlier round.

Anyway, of those who did express a preference, some dislike Chelsea least, some dislike Southampton least, and some dislike us least. And United?

"If an Alien ship landed and said we'll play a one off game against Man U and if we win we take the planet and make you our slaves, I'd still want the Aliens to win."
