Never said our fans are angels so I’m not sure what your issue is, all I did was differentiate West Ham fans from WBA, Stoke and Bournemouth fans. I quite literally didn’t imply anything to do with the make up of our fan base.Yeah, and our fans are angels...

Yes I was stating that West Ham fans are particularly vile. That still has nothing to do with whether our fans are vile or not, as the discussion was in no way to do with our fans. I was merely stating that West Ham fans, because of the behaviour they display, are a much more valid target for a petty chant like ‘you’re shit’ than the other clubs who have a disadvantage. It really doesn’t matter how bad our fans are, we may have the most vile, thuggish, abhorrent fanbase on the planet, it would still be nothing to do with this discussion or my point. You trying to inject it into the discussion is just odd
Anyway, that’s the last I’m saying on it as it’s massively off topic now, feel free to PM if you really want, or talk about it here if you want the last word, or just accept that we wildly disagree, I don’t really care either way.

I wonder if Wimmer will be on the pitch before kick off doing his cheerleading routine for his previous club. He needs all the exercise he can get.

Everyone is resigned to relegation but a heavy defeat could tip the scales and the crowd completely turn given recent events off the pitch
We’ll set up similarly to the Man City game I would imagine with the hope of creating more against a team who aren’t at the same level. We need to score the first goal though which I just don’t see, our record when we go behind is an embarrassment.....
Yet we're conceding considerably less goals.......... I reckon it's got something to do with Lambert using a 12 man defence.
We may as well lose having a go and not holding out to keep the score down mate ...It’s too late for all that bollocks
A heavy defeat or losing with a whimper could tip the scales and tbh even though I desperately hope not I can see it happening
I think we will give a good account of ourselves , miss a good chance to go in front before succumbing to a 2 or 3 goal defeat.
Spurs will fucking kill us.
I reckon Spurs could play 11 outfield players and no goalkeeper,and we still wouldn't score.

It’s a crap chant because it isn’t witty. Not because there’s anything bigoted or abusive about it. It’s like the guy at the dinner party who’s grinning about some incredibly witty riposte he’s made and everyone else is just looking at each other or at their dinner. Just because it's a tribal to you mate it doesn't mean that's what it means to everyone else. I watch footie with fans from all teams and enjoy it, I like the funny banter and actually, on more than a rare occasion, prefer watching football with fans of other teams than I do with some moaning, always complaining Spurs fans.
You don't own the game, mate. People can want to enjoy it however they want.
