the original history is that a team called Everton I believe started as a football team in the area. that team broke through religious beliefs and Liverpool were formed. I'm sure I read it somewhere that the Everton team where the team that 1st started playing at Anfield.

Had to laugh yesterday when I heard Souness on TS say he fancied Liverpool (surprise) because 'RM are very lucky to be in the final'!!!

Fk me they've only played 1 decent team to get to the final and had a shit pile of dodgy decisions to get past them.
They've had the easiest walk to a CL final I can remember anyone ever having.

Can't see him retiring unless he wants to spend more time with his son. He could play into his late 30's if he wants.
