I also read a few comments on some other forums. The Blue Mancs really have short memories don’t they?
“I wonder what odds the bookies would give for Kane never winning anything at Spurs? Probably worth a punt.“
“What a waste”
“No personal ambition whatsoever.
He'll end up like Shearer winning very little in a career he should have been in a team that won everything.”
“Coward,staying in his comfort zone”
“He's a Spurs lad and good on him staying.”
“I think you should have ambition and take risks in your working lives, staying where you are comfy and the big fish is not my idea of living life to the full”
“What do you know of Kane's ambition?
Why is taking a risk a desired part of working life?
Who's to judge whether a young millionaire foootballer is living life to the full in one of the world's great capital cities?
Does he have a family, is he going out with someone? He's still quite young in terms of moving somewhere else.”
“It's pretty clear now, he wants to break his records....doesn't care about titles”
“I'm glad at least. Don't think he'd ever suit us, and rather he be at Spurs than one of the more ambitious top 6 in the PL.”
“Ah well; at least he has something to look forward to in these next few seasons. Another six spring fade outs. Trophies? Meh; who needs 'em? #Spursy”
I find it amazing how some fans are so unusually bitter and have obviously very short memories. Nothing impressed me about a club that has 100% bought their success like Man City. Without an injection of near limitless funding from a corrupt regime, I don’t think they would be talking in the way that many of them do. It’s quite amusing really.
