My suggestion is the two posters who have a problem with the Liverpool stuff go and start your own thread.
There's loads of us who like to read their dribbling nonsense.

We already have a thread for that, it's called let's all laugh at Liverpool thread found somewhere in general chat ;)

But we have loads of *laugh at threads, what you're suggesting would mean this thread isn't necessary anymore.

When they're talking about us or our players, it belongs in here.

No just have a balance and post stuff from other fans too, we know what Liverpool fans think of us, we don't only need to see what they are saying about us, it's hardly ground breaking stuff.

Personally I prefer to read comments that are a bit more respectful towards us anyway, that's what this thread was about when it was first created if I recall. It's silly reading and reacting to comments that are derogatory because it just fuels hatred and pointless rebuttals to them they will never end up reading, you get enough of this point scoring bollocks on Twitter.

I think it's just that since the whole 2 penalties thing, not many other teams have been saying much about us that's interesting. There have been a few things, but the Liverpool fans have been way more vocal than most, especially about things like the England captaincy. Since then, they seem to be talking about us constantly so their comments are gonna get posted here a lot as they're constantly moaning about us.

I regularly go on other sites and post here, but RAWK is one of the few places the comments have been funny/interesting for a while. A lot of the other forums have been pretty quiet or just not saying much that's worth sharing.

I also like the comments that praise us, but I do enjoy listening to the Scousers moan.

I also read a few comments on some other forums. The Blue Mancs really have short memories don’t they?

“I wonder what odds the bookies would give for Kane never winning anything at Spurs? Probably worth a punt.“

“What a waste”

“No personal ambition whatsoever.
He'll end up like Shearer winning very little in a career he should have been in a team that won everything.”
“Coward,staying in his comfort zone”
“He's a Spurs lad and good on him staying.”

“I think you should have ambition and take risks in your working lives, staying where you are comfy and the big fish is not my idea of living life to the full”

“What do you know of Kane's ambition?

Why is taking a risk a desired part of working life?

Who's to judge whether a young millionaire foootballer is living life to the full in one of the world's great capital cities?

Does he have a family, is he going out with someone? He's still quite young in terms of moving somewhere else.”
“It's pretty clear now, he wants to break his records....doesn't care about titles”

“I'm glad at least. Don't think he'd ever suit us, and rather he be at Spurs than one of the more ambitious top 6 in the PL.”

“Ah well; at least he has something to look forward to in these next few seasons. Another six spring fade outs. Trophies? Meh; who needs 'em? #Spursy”

I find it amazing how some fans are so unusually bitter and have obviously very short memories. Nothing impressed me about a club that has 100% bought their success like Man City. Without an injection of near limitless funding from a corrupt regime, I don’t think they would be talking in the way that many of them do. It’s quite amusing really.
The thing thats irks me with the 'where's his ambition?' type comments from rivals fans is as follows:

Moving to Real Madrid/Man City etc to win trophies and titles isn't in anyway ambitious...its almost guaranteed, its a shortcut, its the easy option.

Dedicating your peak years to your boyhood club where you've been since you were 11 years old, a club that have won very little in recent memory, in the hope you can help push them onto winning something of note... that, you morons, is muthafuckin ambition.

Or like arguing with a globe believer who doesn’t accept any other theory, there’s a lot a evidence to support the flat earth, go have a look.

To be honest I don't really care that much about Liverpool, I said all along we'd finish above them and never really got the fear but I just found the idea of not posting what a Liverpool fan said on this thread a bit odd, I would appreciate some thoughts from other clubs' fans though.
You are right though this thread did start to show what our next opponents fans were saying about us, perhaps we need to start another thread saying our next match opponents when the season starts.

That annoyed me as well. That and “He’s staying for the money” and we’re a “second rate club” ?

I was just making a joke about how much we post about Liverpool.

Off season I don’t really care what we post here.

Sorry I know it’s not really a discussion for spurs forum but... Everyone is different, you watch simpsons and believe we’re spinning on a ball at a 1000 MPH, which is taught & backed up with science. In my opinion science is just another theory doing tests the average joe can’t do himself.

Good point, a collection of schoolchildren in Devon can though, some of whom are probably Liverpool fans. So to keep it on topic (and because i suspect im feeding a troll) i asked one what they are saying about us and they said some of our fans are very silly billys.

Pfft, unambiguous video evidence? It proves nothing.

Don't you know that NASA, the US and UK governments, the New World Order, the Illuminati, The Skull and Bones Society, Raheem Sterling, and the Devon school district are all in cahoots with each other and this is just one big conspiracy theory to force you to be a globalist, big pharma climate alarmist? Everyone knows that. Trust your own eyes, mate. They're far more reliable than science and observable, demonstrable evidence.

Please start a thread about it in general chat. I'd love to hear your views.

Dont get the crying about Liverpool, I checked back over that page and there were also comments from Villa, Arsenal, Utd, Chelsea & City yet for some reason people are jumping on the comment from RAWK...

It belongs in this thread as it’s a comment about us from opposition fans

Tony Adams on the Spurs core in the England squad:
“I’m really worried about these Tottenham players, I don’t think they know how to win. They’re very good players but at certain points in seasons and tournaments, you have to step up.”
