Not sure @riggi would agree with you! My recollection of comments copied here from KUMB during the season were anything but reasoned and articulate. Now I could be wrong but, frankly, I can't be arsed to go back and look!
Don’t get me wrong, they have their share of biased morons (who doesn’t?), but it’s not an entire community/cult of imbeciles (unlike one particular place of heathens).

I have a few WH supporting friends who are very intelligent and articulated. I’ve also sat next to some idiots at Wembley who quite frankly couldn’t read the name sewn on the back of their underpants.

They did say they would take over Wembley tbf.

Well those heathens are getting their comeuppance with the mad Russian away so long and with the financial issues they are having!

They probably put them on backwards so it wouldn't be a problem! :ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:

It's like a religious thing for them, not a 'happy clappy singing' type of religious, more the 'beat your teenage son with a piece of wood for looking at porn' type of religious.
They're just consumed by the tribalism, which is a bit fucking sad really.
Ah, catholics...

“I'm not a big fan, yes he's a good penalty taker and he gets into great positions in the box for tap ins, he's got a cool calm head but I'm yet to see him boss a game, like a Diego Costa or a Drogba or even a fully fit Andy Carroll”

You sound like the idiots that called him a one season wonder. He’s now scored regularly at all levels Club CL and internationals. We get you hate his club. But at least have the good grace to admit he’s a fantastic player and stop making ridiculous arguments. I guess you won’t be happy till he scores a hatrick in a World Cup final.

If only that last sentence proves true...

KUMB England V Colombia thread

Also..it's not only Southgate who has ushered in this new mentality.

He's been lucky enough to have a captain and talisman who stays calm and focused under intense pressure and foul play from the opposition. I couldn't care less if he plays for Spurs - he's a top class asset to this country.

Yes, Kane put in a proper captain's performance yesterday.

Trippier's penalty, from a tactical and mental point of view was the biggest one of the lot. An absolute gem.

Trippiers penalty was just beautiful.
Even taking away the pressure of the situation, it was just perfect placement, power and technique

Agreed, It was almost perfect.

give the Colombians their due , when they weren't being totally cynical and play acting they could play some good football and their defence especially Davinson Sanchez was outstanding

UHH!! WHERE AM I?!!!!

On Kumb they're saying that if he didnt get injured, Dean Ashton would've gone on to be as good as Kane.

Tbf, I think one guy said that and none are agreeing with him.

Ashton would have been very good if he hadn't been injured, but not as good as Kane. Better than Vardy though.

He was quality though. Who knows how good he could have been. If Kane is Shearer then Ashton definitely could have been Sheringham.
