The total lack of self awareness from DT and AFTV is as always remarkable.

If the players can’t turn it on, it might just have something to do with the toxic atmosphere they have helped create amongst their fan base.

Arsenal fans have gone from being perceived as 'Nick Hornby' or 'Alan Davies' dull but quite intelligent types to some of the most stupid and irritating people imaginable. It’s funny, but it’s also a cautionary tale; when we inevitably became not very good again I hope we handle things with a bit more style.

If you were a player why would you ever want to perform for them?

I don’t understand and never have understood what the big deal is. The English that was spoken in GB in the late18th century was vastly different in spelling, word choice, and pronunciation, from Shakespeare’s time. It evolved as language does. So it shouldn’t be surprising that the English written and spoken by two sets of English speakers isolated from one another for another couple hundred years would have also evolved and evolved somewhat differently. If the English spoken today in the UK was identical to that spoken in 1780, then British English speakers would have a point. But it is not remotely close so I’m not sure how anyone could expect average Americans who had little opportunity to interact with British speakers until the mid 20th century would somehow conform the evolution of the American variant in exactly the same way as British English evolved.

There's no big deal, it's just something that's gone on between the 2 nations for quite a while. Banter, if you like.

Not really much different to 2 rival teams taking the piss out of each other.

I'm pretty sure, on the whole, nobody actually really gives a damn, and (hopefully) nobody means anything by it.

When we’re paying the highest prices in the land and the likes of Poch, Kane, Dele and the rest are long gone, and not adequately replaced you’ll see a similar toxicity rise. It is somewhat inevitable.

Leno, Ozil, Aubemeyang, Mikhritryan, Popopolos why the fuck don't these ****s buy players whose names you can spell...anyway back to my point. Hardly not replacing better performers. These players are all pretty good performers on their day.

These fucking fans are so self entitled they think top four should be served up on a plate! Give me your salty tears you ****s and see how the other half lives!

It’s brilliant. They are perfect example of the stupid person who has the loudest voice. They just make fools of themselves.

KUMB:

Can see it now.... Son, superb player, cutting in for the up-tenth time and curling in a cracker from the edge of the box. That coupled with another shocker from the officials meaning we need to score 2/3 to win!! Unfortunately can't see us getting anything but would settle for a point!!

These are exactly the types of games we turn up and win. 2-1 West Ham

Even if Kane was playing I'd still be saying Son's the player to watch, a cracking player and really makes them tick.
I hope the players don't need reminding that this is a big game.

Really not looking forward to this, not won for a while, yesterday was our best chance to change that. Saddens me to say it but I honestly can’t see us getting another point this season

First team to win at the Emirates
First team to win at the bottle bank

A win here would be lovely and make up for a lot this season. Unfortunately I can't see it happening.
3-0 Spurs

Despise these lot. They have a very strange fan base.

We've run into some form at the right time. It's in Pellegrini's hands.

They have far more to play for than us, so we can play with a bit of freedom and expression, so let's just give this a go

Who's their nominated diver in Kane's absence?

First team to win away at the Emirates (and was about this time of season in 2007 IIRC?).

A very tempting double feather in the cap here should be an incentive and a half. And having seen the pretty decent prices for beer in their new gaff, our lot might be able to cram in an extra noise-inducing pint beforehand even for a lunchtime KO. (They've got Beavertown ale for the American IPA lovers out there!).

I expect Son to score as he's developing a bit of a Lukaku syndrome v us, so might have to overcome at least one goal.

What the heck - 1-2, we come from behind with an equaliser from Perez (who curls himself into the shape of an Arsenal cannon in front of their kop), then a Noble pen to win it in injury time, cuing him to moon their lot and show them his new tattoo with the date of our win inked on his buttocks captured in glorious technicolour.

Are we allowed to bring our carpet with us?

anyone ever remember the video of Robbie getting Kane to sign a football, honestly I think he's a spurs fan, no real fan of a club could get together those group of people week in week out to represent their fanbase. Surely?

Not just a win. I want us to hammer them (pardon the pun )
If I had my druthers, I'd want us to annihilate them. A proper 6-0 drubbing.

But if you offered me a 1-0 win right now, I'd bite your hand off. I don't want that shower to have any kind of bragging rights - we'd never hear the end of it.

They are talking, they're surprisingly confident.
Really not much worth posting in here though.

win this and we have the instant rebuttal to any amount of spurs crowing about their stadium for the rest of time.

massive game.

Bless. Do you think they went to Dagenham market last weekend and bought some tin cups to dish out to the players if they win?
