i find it weird when opposition fans chime in with their views on other teams and wonder why they think their opinion is informative and/or the fans of the team in question care? Given that this thread is up to page 203 im obviously the exception not the rule (which i sort of knew anyway!)

win this and we have the instant rebuttal to any amount of spurs crowing about their stadium for the rest of time.

massive game.

Bless. Do you think they went to Dagenham market last weekend and bought some tin cups to dish out to the players if they win?
"Winners of the first team to win at Spurs new stadium trophy - WHU"

Second team! Really not buying this one. Only could have had relevance if we'd lost our first game. The first non spurs team to win at our ground is the second one to do it so who cares about that?! We'll win anyway.

as far as English, I have to say the real difference is not in pronunciation but choice of words. Your commentators, especially the ones that arent ex-footballers, are far more efficient and elegant with their craft than ours.

I dunno. During the first leg of our Champions League game against Dortmund (a match I would have been at had it not been for me moving house the next day) all I heard, for the first 45 minutes was "Jadon Sancho, Jadon Sancho, Jadon Sancho and Jadon Sancho"
The commentator had NFI that Dortmund had 10 other players and didn't seem to acknowledge that other than a lot of touches 30 yards from goal, Sancho did fuck all.

All commentators are shit.

Leno, Ozil, Aubemeyang, Mikhritryan, Popopolos why the fuck don't these ****s buy players whose names you can spell...anyway back to my point. Hardly not replacing better performers. These players are all pretty good performers on their day.

These fucking fans are so self entitled they think top four should be served up on a plate! Give me your salty tears you ****s and see how the other half lives!
What like Ericson? :sneaky:

Second to last cup final of the decade for them. The excitement must be palpable.

Are you referring to losing the Legends match?

No, he's saying that the first team to win at the new stadium is/was Spurs. We have to lose eventually at the new stadium so having won our first 4 in a row there its really of no significance who becomes the first team to beat us.

When we’re paying the highest prices in the land and the likes of Poch, Kane, Dele and the rest are long gone, and not adequately replaced you’ll see a similar toxicity rise. It is somewhat inevitable.
Players run a short life span but this team has consistently finished in the top 6 now for 10 years. Whoever we use I have confidence that we will have someone else to replace. I very much doubt the toxicity will be as bad as Arsenal. Don't forget 10 years ago they were the pinnacle of English football the best in the land they failed to maintain that whatever we do now will be amazing but if we finish in 10th next season I would never turn on my club as much as the scum down the road have.

No it is not zed. You brits and your grammar. Utterly insane. Just adding things for no reason. Color, favorite, zee, criticize. Lets get this right. No need to overcomplicate things. Simplify is the best policy(y)

think you will find you was found after us, we have the language of English, you just created and changed life that cost us extra dosh.

if it wasn't for the yanks, Christmas wouldn't be as expensive, Easter wouldn't exist, and Valentines day wouldn't either.

Possibly you're right, the darkness at the heart of Arsenal is that promise the fans were made - that if they leave Highbury it will be to become one of the superclubs of Europe, buying the best players and competing for the biggest trophies.

Obviously, and pretty hilariously for us, it's worked out completely the opposite, but I do understand their rage.

Apparently theyve hit form at the moment too....

To be fair to West Ham, I watched their losses to Chelsea and Utd and thought they were the better side in both, Utd especially. Hazard was the difference at the bridge, the officials the difference at OT.

If anything they were probably too attacking, if you play an open game against teams with superior attackers you likely lose more often than not.

If we are on it we should beat them, but they'll give us a game and create a fair few chances.
