I'm a black country boy and the company I work for is 80% Wolves supporters.

I'll be drinking salty tears all week.

From Holmesdale:-

A 1-1 would be an incredible result which would not be beyond the realms of possibility.

Something - nil to Spurs.

Gubbed again. If we get close to a point the ref will sort it out for them.

If we play like we did against Arsenal we can get something from the game.

If we defend like we did against Chelsea we will concede at least 3 goals.

They have a Few injury issues - and a big european game tonight. Trippier looks shaky as a traditional RB, Wilf should be able to get at him on the leftside.

Could be an interesting One. despite that my head says 2-1 to spurs.

Palace 1 - 2 Spurs

Palace 1-3 Spurs.

We outplay them and they beat us 1-0 with an 85th minute goal.

5-0 Palace....
Now where did that bottle of meths go ?

It seems to me the 43rd minute is often a particularly bad one for us. Don't know if there is any scientific proof of that.

So we go in one down, have a purple patch but get hit by a late sucker punch.

Actually we've only conceded 3 first half goals this season

Last season I could find 10 goals against us in the final 10 minutes of the first half, including three on the 43rd, one on the 44th and two on the 45th.

It certainly felt meaningful at the time, I started to dread that 43rd minute and breath a big sigh of relief at half time.

2-1.

As a spurs fan tweeted “palace are hard to beat, but they do end up getting beat”

1-2 to spurs with Tomkins scoring for us

Desmond 2-2... we will lead and in true Palace style squander it at the death...

Perhaps we should suspend the prediction threads until we buy a striker or two.
It's getting too predictable.

My Spurs supporting son said last night that when the team with the best away record meets the team with the worst home record it's Sod's Law that we are going to win

Defensively they've been pretty good this season, but offensively they've looked laboured at times. Spurs fans haven't been exactly raving about their team this season so compared to the Arsenal and Chelsea games this seems the more winnable (albeit still very unlikely). I'm going to go for a morale-boosting win for us 2-1. Tomkins and Zaha with the goals for us.

My biggest concern here, is how you let your son support spurs and why you’re still calling him son?

Maybe he means Heung-min?

...So, they're understandably not that optimistic. They obviously have the chance to cause an upset - Zaha is a bit hot and cold, feels like if we stop him - we stop Palace. Then again, we're reknowned for ex-players running amok - cue Towny hitting top-bins rather than top-row...

Strange as I never look forward to this fixture yet we have won there the last three times. In saying that though none of those games were easy at all. Two of them were tight 1-0's and the other took a special goal from Dele and great but late on strike from Chadli to win.

After that Wolves game I'm not sure I'm gonna feel safe unless we're 4-0 up!

They're actually not that good but if they get that crowd going we'll be in for a tough evening.

If we play anything like we can, which has been patchy this season, we'll have way too much for them.

Think we'll do them.

I'd say the complete opposite, albeit we have not been at all clinical in front of goal.

Ahh fuck it we've looked laboured all over!

I have to admit I'm not really satisfied with our football this season but for them to accuse us of being ugly and boring is seriously rich considering the dross they've served up since Sir Alex left!

I wonder what they will do tomorrow at City.

Winning games is a habit regardless if by a scrappy 1-0 or thrilling 4-3. The Word is out that we are winning by not playing well...great.

I think this exaggerates things a little bit. Winks didn't even start today and only came on for the last few minutes. Dier didn't play today either (but was on the subs bench). Then we have Eriksen (who also didn't play today but was on the subs bench), who can play in CM very comfortably. And likewise Alli can easily play in CM if needed.

The Spurs squad has a versatility which some people under-estimate. Foyth, for further example, would probably do well in the DM position if needed - he's a ball-playing CB who looks pretty comfortable on the ball.

I think Man Utd have bigger challenges like being pounded by City and going into negative goal difference. For me thats the defining benchmark of a half-decent team to score as many as you concede.

Hmm, if Pogba turns up like he did in their game last season he could single-handedly steamroll the City midfield and swing the game in United's favour.

But it's literally what happened in the second half of the game in which City could have clinched the title last season. You'd think that, given how many of the sodding things we play every season, we'd be conscious that form goes out the window in a derby!
