wow what arrogance from Inter. Honestly, we've done them over I believe 3 times and the one we lost was our famous greatest ever loss when Gareth announced himself.

It astounds me how many still think a famous name means something on the pitch. The same type of people who think Arsenal are currently a relevant club.

Lol at the PSV fan who thinks Jan can't handle their attack.

Are you looking at the same thing? Almost all of the comments on there are saying how difficult it's going to be for them

I guess other teams will view us as beatable and that's fair considering our history in the tournament. Interesting they all seem to fair Liverpool out of all the other English teams and that says experience or history counts.

What will again be interesting if We seriously turn up in the CL is many teams will be taken aback with our levels.

Not sure where the arrogance comes from?

The tottenham is beatable. Worse than that of Napoli

Hell of a statement!

Good matches, however, we are Inter. Tottenham who the fuck are they?

This one in particular kinda irks me. It's one thing to be a big club as Inter were who are doing well and who have not in recent history come up against a minnow in the world of billionaire big boys who are punching above their weight, but Inter are well aware of who we are, what we have done to them at a time when arguably, we were a little worse than we are now, and they were FAR better and still struggled with us. What on earth does this fan mean to imply by the simple statement, 'we are Inter.' Stinks of clubs like Man U thinking they can sign whoever they like (Bale - fail) just because their name is so big when their on pitch struggles are the real issue for them.

I guess I'm just generally a bit irked by fans of clubs in general (not just Inter in this example) who think a historic name seems to mean something on the field. I love it though too in a bittersweet way... the harder they fall! Not that I want to be a hypocrite here. I'm by no means saying we will breeze past anyone in this group, but imagine how silly it would sound if I said, 'however, we are Tottenham. Inter, who the fuck are they?'

We play with the Roma of England, the possibilities are there

My opinion but I think we are better than Roma. We're a bit more like an aspiring Atletico Madrid on the balance of things. I won't blame this fan for not sharing my opinion of following us closely obviously though.

"Barca Forum" - and English language one.

They're mostly reasonable on there.

http://www.barcaforum.com/showthrea...nternazionale-in-UCL-groupstage-2018-19/page4

Spurs really arent all that and i expect a win at camp nou and atleast a draw in wembley. Inter will be the upset of the group and we'll struggle vs them as we always do vs italian teams that i agree on.

were not fucked though, we have a great shot at winning this years CL. PSG and Liverpool are the most dangerous for Barca but City/Bayern/Madrid are there for the taking

Barca are a bit enigmatic imo. I personally think we could end up with a win at Wembley and a loss over in Spain.

Second comment though... PSG look a side that are not practiced against tougher opposition so struggle a bit in the CL. I really struggle to agree with the notion that PSG are more of a threat than City!

This group will be interesting when considering we may have fatigue and injuries to contend with.

Like everything that gets posted in here Im not sure you should take those opinions so seriously...those comments are probably from 13 year old kids.

Astounds me why people get so wound up from a couple of throwaway comments from some randomers lol

Watford have got a match thread open for anyone interested:

http://wfcforums.com/index.php?threads/watford-fc-vs-spurs-02-09-2018.54958/

There aren't many posts in there yet so I haven't bothered quoting any in here just now. Should be quite a few as the day goes on though. There is one bell-end who has needlessly posted about wanting Japan to win on Saturday but generally the Watford fans are good-humoured and can poke fun at themselves.

Watford fans are now discussing how great it would be if Korea lose the Asian Games final on penalties, and that Sonny misses the last one meaning he has to go and join the army.
I hope we run an absolute train on them on Sunday.

I apologise. I guess from some of those fans, I don't mean all.

Very true.

I think for me, I've kinda let the whole 'big club means we are the best' mentality of a few fans out there boil me over. I particularly notice it with Man U who have an attitude that they can sign whoever they want on the pitch and also at manager position, all because Ferguson was so good for them in a time that we are no longer in and brand Man U is so big. Even a good few goons out there were acting like they were on for the quadruple just because they had a managerial change. Guys... Henry and the rest of the invincible team have retired!

Don't get me wrong, there's plenty of Spurs fans out there who are no better, but the sense of entitlement in football can be ridiculous at times, and seeing an Inter fan asking who the hell Tottenham are, even if they are a 13 year old kid who has no idea, is a bit cringe.

This is just something I've noticed over the last several years ever since Tottenham started improving from UEFA levels to CL levels around the time of Redknapp. Large parts of the media want us to fail, and the old money big boys act like only they count in big matches and can get whoever they damn well please. The worst part about it is how they still act like this even as they slip, slip, slip away. (Arsenal, Man U, maybe Chelsea who are difficult to tell right now?)

It's this attitude that they cling to even when they're clearly not a team they used to be who are nowhere near as attractive as they used to be that has been grinding my gears. Remember Ian Wright getting embarrased by the goon crying on radio? How many Man U fans out there still think they can get Bale 'if they wanted to'?

I think I'd better go stand in a corner and breathe for a bit now. :)

Xaviniesta a barca fan posted something interesting about spurs players getting in the barca team.
So my question is how many barca players would get in the spurs team?

Haven't been able to find a good Catalan Barca forum - anyone know one?
We and Napoli got the buggered

with all due respect but Tottenham is a team lady who plays at high levels for years
In the same years where we have never done a fucking

Heavier really could not

Pussy lottery. No ball on. Crashed all season. Nice 30 million and 6 free earwashings. : clap:: clap:: clap:I would have preferred to play Group Stage EL sportingly.

Lovely stuff

I'm glad we're considered to have, over the same period, done a fucking

Good stuff! I'll get quoting.

We are playing Spurs on Sunday at the Vic as they haven't got a stadium for time being. Harr Kane has broken his August hoodoo and now can score goals.

We are looking good, so god knows the result.

3 nil us.

This may be the freest of free hits, considering our start so far.
I remember one of the most embarrassing performances of recent times was playing them (I think on New Years Day) on the TV a couple of seasons ago. To be honest I'd be content with anything but a tonking, but how nice would a win be. We've had results against United, Arsenal, Chelsea in recent years but never seem to manage anything vs Spurs.
Hopefully with us playing them Sunday, then again in the League Cup, things will develop into a bit of a rivalry to go along with our other arch rivals Bournemouth and Palace

I was just reading that if south korea beat japan in the asian games final son is rewarded by not needing to do 18 months military service (it has to be done before he turns 28, he's now 26), along with 20 other players. All sporting gold medal winners get this prize in korea.

In view of that, COME ON JAPAN!!!!!!

What a weird comment to make. It's not even as if us and Watford are rivals in any way, shape or form. Why would they want one of the best talents in the PL to have to cut his career short?

Bizarre.
