Pikeys more deluded than I thought. Snodgrass was lucky to stay on the pitch for the tackle he's referring to

Ref stops game for slight injury to Morer whilst wevare on the attack NOT IN THE RULES refereee

Snodgrass with a bit of ****ing bite in midfield. About the only one fighting for it.

Get in my son. He managed to take out Moura before he was going to run the ball straight in our goal earlier and has now kicked the **** of out him in a 50/50. Their best player by far.

We need 11 Snodgrasses in our team

Good Lord. Actually delighting in one of their players taking our player out. Grim

This ref is so biased he is defintely getting paid off, no yellows for them and soft ones for us BENT

You literally kicked the shit out of our players but ok

We are getting nothing from this game no matter how well we play.

Not sure how well you played yesterday but looked a bit shit to me

WTF could only be marginal offside at best, we're really getting cheated today.
Ye that half a yard between Arnatovic and Sanchez is marginal. LOL

For me that was a good hard fought performance that deserved better. In fact I’d say we were worth all three points never mind the draw.

Think your tv needs adjusting pal. Or stop watching through someone else's window

Awful performance once again. Deserved nothing from that.

No idea if we are to good to go down or not, but we will do well to finish above 15th this season. So glad we moved.

Are you on the right forum mate?

Absolute arse.

Lloris MOTM sounds like.

Typical jammy Spurs.

Arse once again.

No clue either.

Sure they lacked Dele Ali through injury but to leave their two most creative players out in Son and Eriksen smacked of a come for a point mentality

Good Lord. Eriksen returning from injury. Son returning from the other side of the world. Small matter of CL football midweek. Might be hard for you to think in your caravan though.

Without Eriksen, Dembele, Dele, Rose, Wanyama, Vertongen ... that's six of last season's regulars and six players who would probably all start for us ...

Have to say grinding out 0-1 wins when not at your best, and with arguably six of your best players missing, yeah I'm a little impressed ...

What in the world are you smoking? Get off the West Ham forum. Closet Spurs.

Will probably be another season of lower mid table mediocrity

No probably about it.

I've noticed a lot of West Ham fans seem to think a game of football is one half. Perception is always different or distorted depending on who has the better second half in a game of two halves.

A few bits from those who lost their cup final:

A few thoughts from me:

But for Lloris, we'd have at least drawn the match and could have won it had the French drunk not played such a blinder.

I though the atmosphere was sadly muted yesterday. It was London derby v the Spuds: surely we should have been up for it.

The penalty claim was a bit hopeful really as grady was falling over when the defender touched him. Not for me, although I'd have liked it to have been given

not a penalty for me and zab could have got closer but I doubt it would have made much difference. the harm was done by Anderson not bothering to challenge the crosser or at least make it harder for him.

one mistake and a goal conceded just like brighton.

teams only need one goal to beat us as they know that if they keep arnie quiet then we are stuffed.

that said we should at least had one goal. didn't deserve to lose but we did.

hopefully do them in the cup.

atmosphere for a match against spurs was terrible, worst for years. too many tourists in the griound and the odd spud in the TBL. what have we become.

I thought it was a decent performance, and an improvement upon when we played them last season and drew 1-1. Perhaps that says more about spurs than it does us... They're main threat was the pace of Lucas Moura, other than that nothing to get excited about. Although seeing the list of players they had missing on here maybe not a surprise

I think we are doing ourselves an injustice for those saying spurs were poor and we were average. It was an even, cagey game and I thought we nullified each other for most of it. We are a bit of a different animal now as the spurs of the last 3/4 seasons would have pressed as and turned over possession time after time. They didn't even attempt to press us as they know we have the players to hurt them on the counter and we simply keep the ball much better under pressure. Ok 6 losses from 9 tells a different story but luckily we all have a pair of eyes.

Spurs were missing their two most creative players in Alli and Erickson. Plus Kane is a shadow of the player he was last season and looks heavy legged and knackered. Imo we therefore missed a great opportunity to get points off them. Having said that, apart from Arnie, who was going to get goals to do that? Chicharito on at half time might have helped more.

What a drab game that one was, easily one to forget. I thought we did ok defensively for the majority of the game but were toothless going forwards. Anderson is clearly not a wide man, same as Lanzini isn't either both are floating players who need to be given a free role (like Arnie) and not asked to defend too much.

We need to find a way of unleashing the 2 attacking midfielders (who need to be more central in a sort of 4-3-2-1 formation) and Arnie which I think we had started to do v Everton. Unfortunately Spurs had too much quality in the full back areas and overloaded us.

From PSV:

Jan Vertonghen has a hamstring injury and is probably disabled for 4 to 6 weeks. He does not play this game and possibly not the away match. :p:D
That saves a drink on a drink, but even without him you just have to beat the Spurs. As long as there is of course less played backwards and more the attacks continue, I see it rosy.

With our EU luck, this is not going to be anything of course

1-2 and again a referee who will do everything to prevent PSV.
Are these still the aftermath of that home match against 1. FC Kaiserslautern? I would not be surprised.

4-1

3-1

7-0, :SC: from England

A loss for Tottenham Hotspur: defender Jan Vertonghen is out of rotation until December due to a hamstring injury.

link

:bandage: Jan in the rag basket. We will not miss him. :D

2-1 .... with hanging and strangling and a pinch of luck ...

That would be nice!

On the Tottenham forums I only see Barca before and Barca, and how they have to end up above Inter. We are not mentioned except as the opponent where six points are a must. I think they have forgotten that they themselves lost narrowly from Inter and we too (partly due to refraction).
I therefore like to see them go hard on their arrogant mouth.

Tottenham is in any case the nastiest club in England. From players to supporters. Bah.

A bit of a different animal? Yes you're slightly less shit than last season.

It's always so weird seeing people quoting others in this thread. Reading that made me think EmperorKabir had suddenly jumped out of his claret and blue closet.

Honestly, I just read the same post and kinda wanted to punch myself in the face.
