From PSV:

Jan Vertonghen has a hamstring injury and is probably disabled for 4 to 6 weeks. He does not play this game and possibly not the away match. :p:D
That saves a drink on a drink, but even without him you just have to beat the Spurs. As long as there is of course less played backwards and more the attacks continue, I see it rosy.

With our EU luck, this is not going to be anything of course

1-2 and again a referee who will do everything to prevent PSV.
Are these still the aftermath of that home match against 1. FC Kaiserslautern? I would not be surprised.

4-1

3-1

7-0, :SC: from England

A loss for Tottenham Hotspur: defender Jan Vertonghen is out of rotation until December due to a hamstring injury.

link

:bandage: Jan in the rag basket. We will not miss him. :D

2-1 .... with hanging and strangling and a pinch of luck ...

That would be nice!

On the Tottenham forums I only see Barca before and Barca, and how they have to end up above Inter. We are not mentioned except as the opponent where six points are a must. I think they have forgotten that they themselves lost narrowly from Inter and we too (partly due to refraction).
I therefore like to see them go hard on their arrogant mouth.

Tottenham is in any case the nastiest club in England. From players to supporters. Bah.
Well they're a bunch of ****s, aren't they?

The state of this prick, saying we should be docked points and we’re a joke for finishing 3rd in a two horse race...

I hate how City fans don’t even realise they wouldn’t even be in the PL if it wasn’t for their Sheikh.

The fact City didn’t agree to reversing this fixture is a farce and it should have been forced in them, it’s not exactly a big deal playing 3 away games in a row.

I understand why Guardiola didn't want to. Playing a top team away in the run in is much tougher than playing that game at home. It's our own fault for our stadium not being ready though, and having to use Wembley.

I agree with nearly everything

it wasn't just 3 in a row, it would of been 4 of their last 5 which could be costly in a seasons end if there is still a title race going on

Tell him they finished 2nd in the 1981 cup final.

I saw grown men crying in the streets of Wembley and on the London Underground after the finish.

That season was the one where City started with 5 straight wins and came to WHL and lost 4-1

The wheels came off big time, they finished 4th and could arguably be called 'legends'

The global club appeal of Manchester City, whose support base might just stretch south of Stockport.

The analogy that I draw is like a chav in a council house winning the Euro Millions.. Loads of money, but no class.

Liverpool still have first place for that, from how they spent the Suarez money..... that is a very close 2nd though.

A word of warning from KUMB for those in the home end tonight...

"Any Spurs in our end .....we ****ing take these ****s out !! We wont be taken the piss out of tonight !!! COYFI"

:nailbiting:

So did the lads and lasses of KUMB rally to this battle cry and swear violence upon the hated Spurs? Not quite...

"Mind you don't get too scared watching Green Street tonight before your Mum sends you to bed."

:ROFLMAO:

I very much doubt that person would have any knowledge of the 1981 FA Cup final, I suspect their interest in Man City may have come somewhat later...

It's a good time to play them and I wouldn't bet against us.

--------------------

I am expecting an absolute belter of a game. They are a bloody good side, but we are probably going to go toe to toe with them on the counter-attack. I hope for a classic.

Here comes a 0-0 now I have said that!!!

Leaving in a little while to get some scran before getting to the London for the 3pm stuff.

--------------------

I don't get all this 'stealing a draw' and 'nicking a point.' According to the bookies ("Those boys are never wrong" - D. Saunders) we are more likely to beat Spurs than Arsenal are to beat Liverpool. A Wolves win for me

--------------------

Spurs played on Mon night, again on Weds in the cup and have a huge game vs PSV in the Champions League on Tues. They've also got a few out injured IIRC.

It's a good time to play them and I wouldn't bet against us.

Yes I agree.
Its a good time to play spurs having just had their best start to a pl season and Alli and Eriksen coming back and Son scoring again.
