Fuck man...you just dissed Ghod. Not good at all. Not even brave. Just a fricken dumb ass statement.
? thanks for the laugh, no one being brave here, it’s a forum for people’s opinions.
I don’t remember seeing him on TV defending ‘us’ once, but like I said I don’t hold him on a pedestal like most on here

You literally should do that though, he’s one of the greatest players the club has ever seen and is Spurs to the bone.

Bizarre.

So he is the only one? Hazard, Roberts,Mason, all of the 61squad and Sir Bill.
All of these mean nothing cos you love hoddle so much and we should praise him?
Think I will save it for Sir Bill who was Tottenham.

Since when did “he’s one of “ start meaning the only one?

So how far down the pecking order is he? Do I have to bum him every day or is it more of a monthly thing? Judas was a good player for us but how would he hold up? Hoddle went and managed Chelsea who many people detest as much as Scum, and if you can’t see how much he slated as as a pundit, then you might as well be wenger.

You keep changing your points. Makes it hard to discuss with you.

KUMB:

Couldn’t help myself but look on social media after seeing an BBC article that Spurs had done a “fan familiarisation day” for their new stadium.

Some of the pictures make me sick to my stomach.

That place is stunning. Stands, concourses, everything. It’s perfect.

Christ how long have you been a Spurs fan? If you don't understand the love for Hoddle and what he symbolised at Spurs it must be about 5 minutes. I was born in 81 but grew up watching VHS's of Spurs and Hoddle is all over them oozing class and standing out from pretty much every other player. He might say some obvious things in commentary but the guy is so far out of Judas' league to mention them in the same sentence is criminal. Seriously what is your problem?

Yeah any Spurs fan who doesn’t have Glenn on a pedestal doesn’t understand what it means to be a Spurs fan, he embodies everything this club represents.

My point was that Hoddle will sit there just like the other pundits and slate us, Jj will at least defend spurs, like I said I only know Hoddle as a manager( for Us, Chelsea and England) so I don’t have him in this pedestal like others, but I’m told I’m ment to do asking where in the pecking order he is.

Same. I was born in 85, so not long before our decline began really, and VHS highlights my dad had put together of Hoddle was tantamount in my education as to why I supported this team with David Howells, Justin Edinburgh and David Kerslake playing for it.

Why does there have to be a pecking order, why are you being so obtuse? Greaves? Legend. Nicholson? Legend. Mackay? Legend. Ardiles? Legend. King? Legend. Kane? Legend. White, Jones and Blanchfloer? Legends. Chivers, Gilzean, Perryman? Legends. Hoddle? Definitely a legend.

There’s just no discussion here, it’s not subjective in the slightest. The guy who came through our youth system to play hundreds of games, score, assist and entertain like no other has for us and win several trophies, loyal to us when bigger offers were available and only leaving when his decline began is without a shadow of a doubt deserving of our admiration, adulation and adoration. There is no other valid point of view on this one.

Gotta love SC... we can argue about the most pathetic things. Stadium thread, a place whereby after just having a fan familiarisation event, and what do we have, 10 pages of arguing over a slope! Then in here debates over why we should put legends on a pedestal :cry:

In that thread that @Lilbaz posted, there's a picture with the massive puddle inside the stadium has just cracked me up.
Its one thing the front 30 odd rows getting soaked, but getting wet while you're standing in the queue for a pint or a burger is just so West Ham.
:ROFLMAO: Which page? Can use this if I get anymore snide remarks about our ground.

I think you should have massive respect for all of them as club legends?

Honestly this is just weird.
