From Shed End, not overly confident.

After the one-sided disgrace of 24th November I just hope that the players are prepared to give everything to win. Not matter what the cost.

Last game against them was a disgrace, so hopefully we will see a better effort all round. I still don't think we are good enough to beat them at Wembley, but this is a two legged affair so even if we come away with a one goal deficit it won't be too bad.

We always look a bit soft against this mob and it’s hard to see morata changing that. If RLC is injured we will be even softer.

Play the usual way and they will pick us apart.......that f**ker Poch loves doing that. Yes we need a wall......they shall not pass and then hit on the counter or set pieces.

My first away game for years! Just don’t be sh*t please!

Perhaps we need to play against them like we did against City and hit them on the break.

For sure.....stress them, make it hard for them. Cuz you can bet your behind Poch will set them up right, and you can be sure they will be up for it as always. Play an open game and their pace and power will do the job like last time.....and of course expect the ref to be on their side.....as always.

If CHO doesnt start ill actually be pissed. Best winger we have in or squad atm behind only Hazard

Funny how all teams have a comment about "expect the ref to be on their side".

Guess the refs must be doing something right if everyone thinks they are biased towards the other team lol

We've had like 0 pens on Wembley? Clearly biased refs.

This!

The Sol Campbell one is disgusting. I don't like the bloke, but he is so irrelevant to us these days should just be forgotten about and never sung.

The chant that is being discussed should be left for the rivals and not lower league teams in the cup.

People were also singing the original Sol Campbell song at Tranmere as well.

Some from the shed end:

marching on to another third place, muppets.

That is a joke. Spurs have made it look so f**king easy to beat us three games in a row. Embarrassing.

Yup. Not for a long time have they owned us like this results wise.
So f**king annoyed

3 defeats in a row to Tottenham, no end product again. I'm just thankful we aren't more than 1-0 down going into the 2nd leg because anymore and we would be out for sure. There just aren't any goals in this team and I find us boring to watch.

That clip from The Chase is brilliant. Was she describing what our goalkeepers do when all of our defenders are under pressure?

Which is why when we go 4-1 up on the Chelsea on Tuesday I fully intend to doff my hat at the Away section and say "Jolly good show old chaps. Better luck next time, hey Pip?"

So... what I actually said was: “go fuck yourselves you Chelsea rent boy ****s! Oh and by the way I’m reliably informed that Alonso is a murderer”

Sorry Poch...

They can complain all they like but what about the ghost goal at Wembley when they beat us in the fa cup semi under Harry , and also when they beat us at Stamford bridge the season before with 2 dodgy goals , one offside and one didn’t go in... karma

No, it's no Karma as Kane's was a legitimate penalty, their GK totally mistimed that play.

Live sky commentary said it was looked at by VAR. but wasn’t deemed a foul or more likely not a clear error from the referee by not giving it.

It was very cleverly disguised "fall" by Christensen - making it look like he was brought down due to the contact with Son - that actually was a tackle as Son was in "control" of the ball. And he actually fell just when his foot slightly nudged the foot of Son which cause Son to stumble.
So it should have been a red card and a free-kick to Spurs. Even VAR caved in...

Wish they would just give each manager two VAR challenges. Stick the videos up on the big screen and broadcast the conversation between the ref and video ref.

I think this should be decided with a wrestling round between ref and manager!

Redcafe on the next game

Hopefully Smalling is back
Would take a draw tbh

Come on Poch, you don't want to manage a EL team next season. Do the right thing please.

Should easily be the same 11 as vs Cardiff. Lukaku might get in with 3 goals in 3 but I'd keep him as a sub given his history in big games

Think the honeymoon might be over and are in for a rude awakening. Please let me be wrong.

So excited for this game. It’s the big one and a real test for Ole. Think the team is pretty easy to pick, but more important is the tactics. We probably can’t be as attacking as we’ve been against the 5 team we’ve faced recently, so it’ll be interesting to see how Ole is approaching it.

Let’s get a solid fisting on these chaps

You could well be right. A honeymoon doesn't last very long and we must remember how Tottenham cut our defence to pieces earlier on.
They are a terrific team who always manage to get the best out of their players.
I trust us to raise our game as the outcome of this match can have a huge effect on our season.
Going to be very interesting.
Time for our players to prove they are capable of top four.

Can't be playing Jones against Kane again. We've learnt our lesson there.

I'm worried. Think we could get a pasting.

Not much more to be said about this game other than we get to see just how good the players actually are.
Excited to see it unfold and think the way both teams will set up we are in for an absolute cracker.

After our game vs Chelsea

Spurs looked underwhelming tonight and fortunate to come away with a victory. Hopefully they play similar to this on Sunday because I cant see us being as passive as Chelsea have been tonight.

We’ve got a lot more up front as well to trouble them.

His cup final is Sunday, trying to impress the Utd board.

They looked tired tonight

We are going to have to defend well too or we could get a hiding. I don't see that happening though, I reckon we will tighten up a bit and it will not be a high scoring affair.
