No, he's saying that the first team to win at the new stadium is/was Spurs. We have to lose eventually at the new stadium so having won our first 4 in a row there its really of no significance who becomes the first team to beat us.

But West Ham have created an entire culture out of being insignificant.

Fuck me. Only club i know whos fans rely on their nans tea leaf reading skills to predict a result...

Apparently theyve hit form at the moment too....
They also believe the refs are at fault for all their losses. Pretty weird as they are a bit shit....to be fair, we’re somewhat the same way.

Also, in the spirit of the thread, it’s “Apparently, they’ve”;)

First off: FUCK valentines day. Secondly, we gave you Black Friday. Give and take.

I can't help but say "Black Friday" in a terrible, Patsy Kensit South African accent. Do it. Then chuckle.

Back to the game and the fans. I do hope as many as possible make the effort to turn up this weekend. It's an important match, not because of who we are playing, but because we need champions league football secured. They have nothing to play for other than their pathetic bragging rights (which no one cares about, they get nothing for beating us)

We can't have them making more noise than us. We need to be there and be loud.

i find it weird when opposition fans chime in with their views on other teams and wonder why they think their opinion is informative and/or the fans of the team in question care? Given that this thread is up to page 203 im obviously the exception not the rule (which i sort of knew anyway!)

To be fair, if you don't find it interesting to read about what other teams' fans are saying, it begs the question why would you open a thread called "What our opponents' fans are saying about us"

as far as English, I have to say the real difference is not in pronunciation but choice of words. Your commentators, especially the ones that arent ex-footballers, are far more efficient and elegant with their craft than ours.
Agreed, I can't stand listening to American commentators doing football/soccer. It sounds so odd. Just used to proper British commentary.

Apologies for trying to get the thread back on track...
