Be interested to see if they are still calling him a diver in three weeks time.

That would depend on if he gets booked or accused of diving again. If it happens with any sort of regularity, then of course the media will pick up on it in the same way as they have done with Dele.

You're missing the point. Kane and Lamela didn't dive against Liverpool (or anyone else) yet the media still picked over those incidents for weeks after the game.

Not seen Shearer tweeting 'Divey Salah' though. He only mentioned Welbeck's dive because loads of people tweeted him to get it out of him.

did anyone pick up on one of the commentators comments during yesterdays game. When MP brought Dele on, he said (don't know who, sorry!) that this was extraordinary with the game won and the internationals coming up.

he then speculated twice....that the reason was to get Dele injured so he would miss the international friendlies. What's extraordinary is the stupidity that would lead someone to think this and then articulate it on TV.

Ossie also called it out on Twitter

I wonder why they go on about a player who's already been booked for diving twice this season. Nothing to do with fitting a certain narrative at all ffs

Did you enjoy that? Chuffed for you.

This whole agenda stuff is bullshit. You could take any club and find the same things :D

It was Danny Mills.
More known for being a nasty bit of work than an actual footballer.

He wouldn't be the first. Loads of people used to think it. It was, I believe quite common back in the day. There should be loads of links to stuff like that, IIRC the Keane McCarthy World Cup thing where he was sent home was over something like that.

He also passed his opinion that de doesn't think playing Son as a false number nine is his best position!? Maybe that's why we don't play him there when Kane plays or perhaps he thought we should have played Kane instead. I don't care whether he thinks it or not or whether it is correct or not I just wonder what his option would be yesterday knowing Kane was out.
Personally I thought Poch brought Dele on to earn him his appearance bonus.

There were also bizarre comments about Our team selection by Dean Saunders and Glenn Hoddle before the game. Saunders thought it was a much weakened team and that Swansea had a great chance. I was thinking at the time that we had a strong team out and I felt totally confident. Just shows you what some of these so called “experts” know about the game. Even Hoddle questioned the lineup

It was ridiculous, up until that point I hadn't even seen the lineup, the way they were carrying on I thought we had Foyth and KWP in the lineup. Saunders even said that Swansea will fancy their chances of an upset now that Spurs are severely weakened I mean wtf
