This tie is what it is, give our all and if we do somehow get through, then result!

We are clear underdogs in this tie, we can’t compete with their spending, it’s the difference. Take away their owners and they’d be fighting it out with West Ham for 12th. Everyone knows that

This City side absolutely have our number at the moment too. We don’t give them much of a game of late. Styles make fights and all that, we are not set up to cause them too much grief.

I just want 100%, no stupid, stupid mistakes and come off the pitch knowing the boys couldn’t have done anymore, no matter what the result.

It’s football and upsets do happen, often. COYS!
Agree with this nearly 100% but they have looked like they can be exposed at times it's whether we can make/take our half chances

I agree. The previous two games at Wembley were spoiled by a lack of atmosphere from our end, meaning a lack of intensity. We also gifted them early goals. I do think we had moments and didnt give City domination but struggled to raise our intensity. I think the stadium and fans could really boost us tonight. We can impose ourselves like we did in 2016, why not?

Secondly both Schalke and Lyon caused City plenty of problems. If we can get Sonny, Lucas and Dele running at them we'll give them a game.

Especially as Arsenal won't be debt free in theirs until 2031. £20mill payment per year until then - which is why they crave CL football to boost their famous war chest.

Kronke has used the club and it's bank balance as leverage for building the rams new stadium.

They aint going to be massively spending any time soon.

I don’t expect to go through, obviously, but I want 2 things. First, like you, I don’t want any stupid errors that lead directly to goals and secondly I just don’t want the tie dead and buried after tonight’s game. If we lose can we please just keep it within 2 goals.

Mind you, if they win 2-0 it kinda is over but at least we’d have a qtr chance in the return leg

I saw some Arenal fans online last week whooping it up that the Rams Stadium would be an addition to the global empire that is Arsenal.

Crowing about a shiny $2 billion project whilst not realising is a $5 billion project and very much a massive
debt loaded folly.

Its so stupid, that's like us including Joe Lewis' yacht and art collection as part of the Spurs empire...

Media and pundits are right to have us as underdogs, but odds were stacked well against us after 3 games and 88 mins.

As long as the players are up for it and we don’t give any gifts away, no reason we can’t cause an upset

It's all they have to cling to at the moment as they can't outdo us at our own stadiums. Secondly, deep down they'd love to have Levy as opposed to Kroenke.

Man city lose and receive positive press. Liverpool have the usual gush and multiple jizzy articles. We win and its all negative press about kane getting injured. The press is a joke

Couple of city fans I know think pep rested everyone last night as they’re confident of winning the return leg by at least two, exceptional levels of arrogance. Really hope we shove it up them next week.

Bringing on Sane and De Bruyne at 88 minutes said it all to me.

Looked at the usual sources this morning and didn't read anything positive.... just the usual guff how we're expected to be rolled over at the etihad next week.

The only thing that isn't being reported fairly IMO is how good we were, the focus is more on the fact that Pep messed up but Poch got his tactics spot on, restricted them to two shots at goal (1 was a pen which should not have been) kept their front line quiet.

Saying we were better doesn't fit the quadruple narrative though. They're the bestest team ever don't forget.
