You skim read it didn't you? :D

No.

I read it & simply translated it different to yourself.

Different people see different things, umm, differently.

You were happy with what you read, fair enough.

I wasn't happy with what I read because there's no recognition for what this team/club achieved on Wednesday night, and no respect shown towards the carrier bag full of discounted meat that was dead on his feet after putting in a monumental effort to help achieve the result that sees us playing in the CL semi final.

It's absolutely shocking the amount of media outlets give spurs no credit for not spending millions and bringing young players through and making a semi final. Why do they always side with the club's who spend fortunes it makes no sense to me.

I think its called "towing the party line", news agencies like sky for instance, want to make a massive thing on the transfer merry go rounds and I'm sure they must have hangers on who gain through large financial transfers amongst their ranks. I think that anything that goes against the grain, of spending loads of money and buying the title, with funds which may come from questionable gains, is discredited especially if the team in question don't open any money in two transfer windows!!

Any pundit who doesn't buy into this template (imo) doesn't have a job simple as that. Although a lots of fans from other teams I speak to seem to think the only way you can win is by spending big money on players, so I expect it is ingrained in a lot of these pundits that the only way to achieve success is by spending whatever money your club can get its hands on without questioning where the money came from.

I mean who do we think we are not spending any money and expecting to beat teams who spend loads of money ?!!! (insert ironic smiley !)

Why do our fans think the media hate us and why do opposition fans think we are the media darlings? ?
Why is the BBC accused of both left wing and right wing bias by the other side?

Because it's literally impossible to please everyone and everyone has their own agenda too.

In fact, if you're attacked by all sides you probably do a pretty good job.

Kinda look at it differently. If city scored from a goal like lorente scored and that knocked us out - more than likely we’d be screaming an injustice, the rules ain’t clear etc

So i’m Just glad it was given for us, rather than discussing that actual incident as it did hit his arm before his hip.

Offside was offside, no doubt about it, but scoring that and the linesman not seeing it and then VAR ruling out is always going to be the talking point.
City did dominate the second game and they won that game, very fortunate of some great goalkeeping to be honest and clinical finishing and being in the right place at the right time!!

The thing is we don't know if the linesman saw it (at least I haven't seen it confirmed anywhere). They have been instructed to keep the flag down if it's close and let VAR sort it out. It's one of those things where possibly both scenarios (Llorente goal and Aguero offside) would have played out exactly the same if VAR wasn't involved.

Jamie Redknapp just said about Bernardo Silva ‘the game is effortless for him, and the thing I like most about him is his effort’.

I know what he meant but he’s still a plonker.

Did Souness eat any humble pie? He so thought we were gonna get a thrashing pre-match.

I think he was saying that we may have believed that the job was done regarding the CLSF and had to put that to one side as this is a different match. If that was the case we could get turned over. As it was we did turn up unfortunately so did Michael Oliver.

A plonker I wouldn't mind in a Spurs shirt though.

Not just that. We can't say **** on here, so pictures of them are certainly going to get people banned.

Just the pic can get people banned also. This is from the rules post

Remember, from now on, if you post a copyright or NSFW image your post will be deleted/removed and you will very likely receive a ban for it.

It had oodles of respect. He's complimentary, I really can't see 'very little respect' I think it's a very fair piece.

I read it. The main impression that I got from it is that the writer is a self-satisfied twat whose main objective was to show how clever he is.

The part that irritated me was the following: "For the past 13 years Tottenham have been trying to become more like their neighbours." Utter bollocks. For the last twenty-five years Tottenham have been trying to return to being what they always were. In the meantime Arsenal achieved what they always wanted: to become like Tottenham.
