I think I've missed it too :cautious:

Care to fill us in?

I think the point is that's what @shelfmonkey was saying i.e. what the bloke on talksport said doesn't really make sense because we broke our transfer record two seasons ago, and several times over the past few years. So saying "at last" is like saying we never break our transfer record, which just isn't true in the slightest.

I wasn't listening so that may well be. Pray, what was the point?

The point was, wtf has breaking our transfer record got to do with anything? Also, Goughie stressed 'at last'! What is that supposed to mean? Talksport contradict themselves all the time, one day players and clubs are greedy, the next day clubs should be breaking the bank for said 'greedy' players! An utterly meaningless, twatty statement, that was my point.

Not quite mate, but I'll gladly add that in.??

People know how they operate and still you're listening to them.

What is getting on my pip is that at least four different pundits have said about Maxi Gomez / Sessegnon / Clark / Arons .that "they would be mad to join spurs" .
Among the reasons (too soon). (will not get playing time ). ( you will never play because of Kane) (its the wrong fit). what is it with these pundits and trying to put them off of signing for spurs.
The ultimate insult is Danny Mills saying " spurs offer for clark is too low and an insult to supporters " and that basically Levy was trying to get Clark on the cheap.
Well pardon me but is that not what every club does which is pay as little as possible for new signings and not to say "oh I must pay over the top for this player" Danny Mills an idiot who said that spurs had drawn too many games last season and we were a club that I believe only drew one game all season. All these pundits do little or no research because that would take effort and ability and that is something that almost all pundits lack . their views are based on the latest general perception because too actually study and find real facts takes work and time and that is something most pundits simply will not commit to.

Danny Mills is, and always has been, a dickhead. 'Nuff said.

I was talking to Daniel Taylor of the guardian last night and he hates that visiting Tottenham. He finds it so aggressive and intimidating and a lot of other journalists have the same view. He was talking about the walk from seven sisters and all the pubs full of us making loads of noise.

I’d never thought of it before, but it forms how the journalists see us apparently. I thought it worth posting as it might reflect how some of them write about us like they do.

I was mainly talking to him about Forest so didn’t really have a chance to get into it with him about us apart from that. Not that he covers us of course.

A football journalist who doesn't understand that football fans assemble in pubs and make noise before games. Lol.

Interesting.

Out of curiosity, what did he say about Forest?
