You mean like Martin Keown's latest fuck up ?

Once again, no one is comparing our situation to other clubs, dont be like a liverpool fanIt'll likely be the same lazy bollocks Ian Wright was mumbling about yesterday. "Ooh, if Spurs don't renew their contracts, they could leave on a free..." like no other club has, or has ever had this problem, ever.
And he has a monkey’s head...
He was here for Mido.Sadly not seen in these parts since a few months after Berbatov was sold...
And just to keep on topic... pundits are ****s
You're not missing much. A Times journo's probably been for liquid lunch with some prominent football agents and they've taken the opportunity to try to ramp up the pressure on all the PL clubs to increase players' wages to avoid them running down their contracts. There's nothing particularly insightful in the article. As far as Spurs are concerned, we already know that the players mentioned (Jan, Toby, Christian, Eric, and Danny) are within 2 years of the end of their contracts and seem to have decided that it's worth taking their chances as free agents when their existing contracts expire. The article portrays it as a specific problem for Spurs, but I'm sure that the owners of all the clubs are having to come to terms with this sort of issue from their star players.
Wot?Once again, no one is comparing our situation to other clubs, dont be like a liverpool fan
Merely the fact we are famous for the fact we keep players locked down on long deals, so this never happens with us and all of a sudden we have 3 players possibly being able to leave

Rennes. Lille. What's the difference, it's all foreign anyway.I heard him say that when he was on. I thought "what the fuck" but was driving at the time so couldn't Google it to check, and just assumed he was right.
I'm glad after all these hours I finally have some closure and know what a plank Keown is.
I struggle to see why the media persist with Keown. He's void of personality, thick as shit and takes himself far too seriously..You mean like Martin Keown's latest fuck up ?

As in all branches of journalism, the football pundits earn their money by emphasising the problems without proposing any solutions. With high-end PL transfer fees now approaching £100 million, it's inevitable that the players and their agents are going to want to see more of this themselves, though you can bet your bottom dollar that the PL Chairmen are currently spending a fortune on their legal teams to find a more practical alternative. Unfortunately, as all the players concerned are extremely wealthy men, even if their gample on winding down their contracts doesn't work it's unlikely that they'll find themselves in the gutter or, even worse, having to become pundits!Levy is a pragmatist if we were to lose all three on a Bosman I believe that Levy will try to negotiate new contracts with two years left on contracts if they don't commit he will do his utmost to unload said players for as much money as possible .
Another part of me thinks that Eriksen its Madrid or stick with us .
Vertonghen to my understanding has of now is yet to be offered an extension and seems willing to sign a new deal if offered.
Alderwerield is odd really as I think his big bucks Bosman may not be as lucrative as he thinks ; he will be 31 years of age at the end of his contract with us and it may be a new club may not be paying a lot different to what we would.Or it could be he just wants to return to Ajax as he has alluded to .
Overall the noise around these three players mainly by sky Arsenal and Liverpool ex player pundits is just another ploy to try to unsettle the; club ; players ; fans ; The people going on about these players and general (non existent)unrest is Merson/Nicholas/Mellor/Thompson/ Wright /Smith could go on but you can see by the names what their agenda is .
By the way the latest plucked out of nothing by Mellor is that Poch will walk away from Spurs in the next few months and this theory is based on his expert opinion and fuck all else . Arseholes every one of them.
There's going to be a lot of saltiness from the pundits after today!!
Already begun on motd
If only they were this outraged by Fergusons United back in the day all I'd hear is cleverness, smart, wily, 50/50, rub of the green etc
In other words, a perfect replacement for Hansen and Lawrensen.I struggle to see why the media persist with Keown. He's void of personality, thick as shit and takes himself far too seriously..
Jamie Redknapp on the VAR thing:
It doesn't matter if the handball is intentional or unintentional, that's the law now but it is such a harsh decision. What I find amazing is that not one Tottenham player complains or looks at the referee. It's just that feeling of losing the game and there's nothing you can do.
I have no idea why he's so amazed that none of the players complained or "look(ed) at the referee". It wasn't the kind of thing you'd expect a player to notice, unless they had eyes like a shitehawk and were stood around ball watching in the 92nd minute of the game.
I HATE it when pundits say that!! Lee Dixon said the same thing on the NBC commentary, just because the players don't see it/appeal for it doesn't mean the goal should stand!
