We bent Liverpool over and the pundits can't handle it.
Poch has evolved and learned.
We've played this way against Dortmund Madrid Liverpool and won 7 points.
I fully expect us to play this way against city.

I just heard John Collins refer to VVD as the best defender in the primer league.

Time to go to bed

Absolutely brilliant.....state of the art make up and prosthetics from harry enfield and paul whitehouse there...just when you think the ron manager thing has run dry

Makes me laugh all these pundits now going on about the Liverpool GK situation. Most of them(The Liverpool bias ones at least) were all saying they should go for Joe Hart in the Summer.

Didn't we have this problem with GKS when we had Segers coaching at the club with all the keepers we signed regressing? Sullivan, Robbo etc.

Then we got a new guy in under Ramos, who left with him, then Tony Parkes and now Jimenez with Hugo and Vorm. Has to be very poor coaching at Pool across the board of the defensive unit. Must have had proper defensive coaching team at Borussia and better players. I don't think a single one of Pools defenders could get into another side for a club competing for Europe.

Pat Nevin said the same thing on the Beeb. Said to take nothing away from us but City are still much better and have beaten a better team, in better form, away, and he expects them to win league and go further than us in CL so we still won’t win anything, so this was effectively one big shop window for Poch and the players

Don't get me wrong, City are scarily good this season, but there is no need to compare these two fixtures.

IMO both teams did amazing jobs last night, so I see no need for a comparison. I haven't seen one of our supporters claim that our result is better than City's, we are just enjoying the fact that we played a world class game last night.

It's just funny how there will always be a way to dampen Spurs achievements for the pundits even when we really deserve some credit for the way we played. It's like they despise our rise deep down so no matter what we do, there will always be a way to take away from what we are achieving.

No need to guess which result Lawro thinks was the biggest last night.

Well let’s just enjoy Martin ‘I love West Ham and that means I hate Spurs’ Samuel struggling to find anything negative to say about us

“Real Madrid were done, their executives and club legends staring on in mute disbelief. Tottenham were just better: hungrier, sharper, smarter. My word, Tottenham really did a job on them. By the end, Cristiano Ronaldo, who had never lost a match at Wembley until Wednesday night, was a study in cold, impotent fury. He wasn't even in the best 11 players on the field. Every one of that best XI played for Tottenham.”
