We've only lost 9 times in the last 72 PL matches? what the actual fuck.

That's incredible.

I almost don't believe it but its true. Its ridiculously good. Sad at the same time though because we should have 2 league titles to show for it but we don't.

Yeah but if we didn't have Kane, Lloris, Verts, Toby, walker, Rose, Dembele, Dier, son et al nor Poch then we wouldn't have that great a record

If, this morning, Charlie Nicholas had said something even faintly derogatory, one of our resident everypunditisa****istas would have been all over it like Russell Brand on Kat Shoob.

But he didn't. He was very very complimentary. There's no mileage in posts without fake outrage so nobody is coming forth to say it...........so here I am :D

In fairness, although I'm not a paid up member of the everypunditisa**** society, I'm happy to go on record that despite what he was saying about us, Charlie Nicholas is still a **** :D.

A nice quote taken from the Guardian's preview of the West Ham game (Ten things to look out for this weekend section):

"The likelihood is that Tottenham Hotspur’s chance to win the title vanished with Chelsea’s win at Goodison Park, making their deconstruction of Arsenal all the more impressive. And well though they played in that game, this was not even Spurs at their best, rather a simple assertion of immense, intense superiority: a team so grooved, with players so good, that they need only play fairly well to win, which they do more or less every week. Their win over Arsenal was also impressive because it showed their progression from last season. The collective misplacement of swede once the title seemed lost, though entertaining and sustaining, did not suggest a team poised to make the ultimate leap; on the other hand, their calm, ruthless degradation of their local rivals dripped with future menace".

I love that last phrase...a team full of 'future menace'. COYS

Blimey...Kat Shoob.

That's a blast from SC past A&C.

Just a quick reminder of what the pundits predicted for us pre-season. Spoiler alert, pretty much everyone without a Spurs connection didnt even have us finishing top 4.

Instead of talking about us maybe they should focus on the abject failure of Arsenal, Man City, Man United and Liverpool (who without Europe should have surely challenged this year)!

No we shouldn't. There were two teams who were better than us in the last two seasons.

To be fair, many Spurs supporters including myself predicted that we would struggle to make top 4 as the usual suspects would re-emerge this season
